Med's Done....: 26-07-2013
App. Filed......: 10-10-2013
File Transfer...: 14-11-2013 Sponsorship Approval
AOR Received.: 10-12-2013
CSQ: Send.....: 24-12-13
Credit Charged for the CSQ: 08-01-14
CSQ:17-01-14 ( and I new it until today! I didn't receive the letter. My husband call to MICC and asked for the CSQ
I send the copy of the CSQ and my PGR document to the embassy: 26-01-14
Passport Request: 17-02-14 That was so fast!
RÉSIDENCE PERMANENTE: 25-FEB-14

I am so happy but sad at the same time for leaving my family, friends, I love u Mexico! but I love my husband too! I want to thank all of you for all the help you gave us! We will be in my heart forever! I will pray for all of you! Love u my friends! Merci bcp mes amis! Hi,

We are trying to fill in the CSQ application for a spousal sponsorship and are very confused. On form A-0520-BA, question 3, it asks for a list of family members of the principal sponsored person. I am definitely a member of the family of my de facto spouse, but I am sponsoring him, so should I be listed as a family member who is not accompanying him to Quebec? He has no children and obviously doesn't have any other spouse, so should this section just be left blank? I'm already in Quebec, of course.

I am also a New Delhi applicant. I applied for the CSQ in september 2013, when Mississauga office has sent me the receipt of acknowlege of my file. (my file received date is 20 august 2013) In this letter (received by email), they also asked me to send the forms for the CSQ. After a month, in november 2013, I received my CSQ by normal post in Canada...

Yes, smooth processing, about 4-5 weeks, if all filled out properly. You could fax them the application and then mail them original, like we did.

I've been trying to search for advice on the Quebec portion of immigration. I know the CIC part back and forth but am a little foggy on the MICC and CSQ stuff. Can someone give me a brief summary?
And what is the timeline for sending the paperwork in? Do we send the paperwork to MICC at the same time as CIC or wait til CIC approves sponsorship and THEN send in paperwork or would that delay anything?
I remember reading something that said when CIC approves sponsorship (with an email) that you'll forward that to MICC.


About me: American citizen married to Candian citizen living in Quebec. Applying Outland. Currently gathering paperwork/evidence/making doctor appointment, etc
