What is biometrics? Are you referring to medical examination? I have heard nothing from Federal since 2017 Mar and hence has not proceeded to any step like biometrics or medical exam so far.
What can I do as a follow up?

Biometrics is finger printing..they will ask when they are ready for you. I am also 2017 applicant..jan 2017 and still waiting for medical. Hopefully we will get our turn in the next few months.

Thank you for your update, it seems the waiting is longer than 49 months. Another applicant Ipliliho filed in Mar2017, it has passed 49 months, not even medical checkup !

As Ipliliho has already passed 49 months, still heard nothing, I guess the waiting time will be longer than 49 months. Quite discouraging!
Hi Ipliliho, I suggest you should check with IRCC as your waiting time is longer than what their posted ! Hope you get reply soon !
