hello stillhope,

is nursing in quebec still in the priority list??? if so, is the processing faster??? how long does i usually take to processed from application up to flying to quebec granted that the documents are all complete??? thank you.....

Yes Nursing is in the priority list. Most probably you will get interview/csq within 6-8 months and after that nearly 6 months to get done with Federal part. So you can say about 1 year for total process.

Hello Stillhope

Appreciate you quick response. Wanted to check the priority list. Could you please provide me the link, where I could find the professions which are listed? Need to check whether mine falls under it or not.

Thanks a lot. :-)

Hello,

No Exam French is not Mandatory but the interview will be in french language and you must demonstrate your level of french at the same time (Basic, High or Advanced).

No there is no req of A2 level. You can earn 2 points from A1 and apply. And its always better to have more points than you require.

In your case you can Appear for A1 exam and as soon as you get your A1 Result you can apply. After that you can prepare for the A2 level in the mean time and When you receive your AOR/File Number you can update them with your A2 Level results.

Dear Rakireddy,

If you wanna claim you points then it is mandatory to submit the result of french and English otherwise there is no need to submit the result. well A1 and A2 is very much easy these are start level of french.

StillHope,

Thanks again. one more question, please dont kill me, i am putting it down as and when it comes in my mind.
-once we get the QSC, what are the next procedures, before we can officially fly to Quebec?
-and, once we land in Quebec, and try searching job there, but unfortunately dont find any, can we move to other regions?

I am really worried about the job prospects, as me and my husband both are from financial services field. (worked with companies like Deustche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse Bank, Nomura. All in India though)

Hello,

I want to know what documents are required for proving work experience. Although the Quebec PNP site mentions (as quoted below) that a work experience certificate and an employment contract copy is all that is required, I am guessing that having salary payslips and other proof handy would be better, just in case they want to verify more at a later time.

The problem with me is that I work in a small firm where firstly, I am paid in cash and secondly, the boss doesn't give me any salary payslips. Also, I was never given any contract letter as such. Also, I don't file any IR-forms or something.

So all that I would have is a work experience letter. Should I ask my boss for salary slips and a contract letter before applying for the Quebec CSQ? And anything else? I want to be 100% sure that my application is not rejected because of the lack of work exp documents.

What should I do? Please help!

-Once you have been selected you must submit your federal application in order to be able to "land" in canada. It's the second part of this whole process.
-and yes, once you have become a resident you have the right to move to any region in Canada.
