This are easiest and even this consider as Dipaloma Course of French Language which has no expiry of the certificate so better to go with this DELF nd DALF so that it will also help you in future if you require
Hope this above mentioned information helpfull for youabhisri200k said:Hello All,
Please let me know if we qualify for QSW ?
My Details:
Education: Btech (Information Technology) = 10 Points
Area of Training: B Category = 12 Points Please check Area of Training Points once again as your Education is not listed there in Area of Training. You have to check Part I - Foreign Degree Part rather to check and count Part II Quebec Degree Part. So once again you check your points for Area of Training.
Work Exp (Software Engineer): 2.5 Years = 6 Points
Age: 24 = 16 Points
French: NIL Better to start taking Classes from AF and submit file while you have DELF A1 Certificate which gives you more chances for selection
English: IELTS 6.5 = 4 Points
Financial Self-sufficiency: Yes = 1 Point
Spouse Details:
Education: Bcom (Currently enrolled in MBA) = 3 Points
Area of Training: A Category = 4 Points
Age: 24 = 3 Points cHECK Points once again in Foreign Degree section Part I
So the total is 57 which is the required points. Do We qualify ?
And what are the chances of getting the 6 Additional Adaptability Points ?
I am going to prepare for French and Think can qualify atleast A1 in Feb, 2012 when I am thinking to apply, which will give me an extra 2 points.
Please help.

ADITYA1984 said:Hello Friends
You can start taking classes of both the level A1 & A2 Together
Also appear for A1 & A2 Exam together as this both exam schedule on the same day bt time is different
I suggest you to start taking classes right now and appear for the exam in Month of June 13 2012 which should be the best way to get pass with required marks
Also you can take exams of B1 & B2 on the same day if you confident to pass this exams on the same day than you can appear for the all first four level exams on the same day.
I Suggest you to go for exams in month of june and file u must send in the month of August till than u just prepare for your french language and pass the test so that if any time interview comes than you can do pass the same in the same
In addition to this you can take and clear exams on the same time as many as you can so its upto you how much u confirdent about your self to get pass the DELF i suggest you to take first DELF A1 & A2 on the same day and also start classes of your spouse so that there are more 2 points increase in ur total points and if you clear this both level this u should have 6 points and if your wife is clear this two levels than you should have 2 more points fo spouse language proficiency so you can total claim for 8 points just for language proficiency in french and if you get more than 5 band in IELTS but less than 7 than you can claim 4 points and more than 7 band than you can full 6 points
Hope this should be helpful for you
varunynr said:Dear Kittlylona,
What AF have done now a days is dividing A1 into 2 parts A1.1 and A1.2 each for a duration of 3 months each making A1 total of 6 months duration. In my opinion this is huge time for clearing A1 , though alternatively you might grasp french in a better way by devoting more time on language. In case your motive is just to pass the exams and get the marks then go for A1(intensive) course(AF Mumbai must be having this in their curriculum , all AF's have it) , it consists of both the courses combined into 3 months duration. In case you attend the classes you might also take A2 exam which you have fair chances of passing in case you have a reasonably good level of preparation.
I do not think you can take part 1 and part 2 together , technically AF would not allow that but get that confirmed. Best of Luck for your preparation.
Thanks

Dear Ambiambi1775 said:these are the points and band u need from IELTS
Listening speaking
8.0 - 9.0 7.0 - 9.0 3 points
5.0 - 7.5 5.0 - 6.5 2 points
yes u can apply with A1 if u get 5points from IELTS and another option is if your wife clear delf a1 with u then that is best for u.
thanks
U r correct Varunvarunynr said:Little correction Aditya1984 :
Delf certificates do not have any expiry indendently but , when applying for QSW hold a validity of 2 years just like IELTS exam. Nonetheless they are the easiest.
The source of same is not available but I read it somewhere on Quebec immigration website. Please confirm the same.
Happy new year to all.
Thanks

abhisri200k said:Dear ADITYA1984 and ADITMPAN2,
Thanks for your replies.
So here I am now:
My Details:
Education: Btech (Information Technology) = 10 Points
Area of Training: C Category = 6 Points
Work Exp (Software Engineer): 2.5 Years = 6 Points
Age: 24 = 16 Points
French: NIL
English: IELTS 6.5 = 4 Points
Financial Self-sufficiency: Yes = 1 Point
Spouse Details:
Education: Bcom (Currently enrolled in MBA) = 3 Points
Area of Training: A Category = 3 Points (Please reply 2 or 3 ?) 2 Points
Age: 24 = 3 Points
Now TOTAL is 52
Also I have a new question: I have just read somewhere that I can also earn points on Internships. I have done 2 six months (1 Year) internship in my Btech. Will that count and in which way ?
I have decided to go for A1 and A2 before applying which will give me extra 6 points. And also try to attempt IELTS one more time so that i can get the score of atleast 7.5 bands (Currently 6.5 bands) which will give me advanced level and give me an extra 2 points (RIGHT ADITYA1984 and ADITMPAN2)Right but better you clear DELF A1 & A2 rather to go with IELTS as its enough points you are getting from IELTS at this stage but if you clear one more level of DELF than it should give you more points than what actualy you are getting from IELTS.
I just suggest you to make clear your DELF A1 & A2 Exam and once you have certificate on hand than you can do apply for the same.
Best of Luck
Guys I still need 5 points to qualify, What should i do ?
