Hello,
does anyone know how the interview in French is conducted? I don't speak French well and took classes duing my primary school and high school.

Is it a question/answering session, like the one done in English or will they ask me to introduce myself and talk about my plans in French?

Regards

Malmo

Malmo,

I am also concerned about the interview in French. Its at least 75% in French. How is your French?

Hello guys,
I just spoke with my lawyer and she told me the following:

MANY people passed the interviews by ONLY being able to say yes and no in French. French is NOT obligatory but will only give you some good points during the interview. If you are able to convince them that you are willing to learn French and will try hard in improving the French you already know (whatever level) that will suffice.

My lawyer is campbell cohen office.

How much time do you have? Start brushing up your French buddy. Demonstrate your current knowledge during the interview and show your eagerness to learn French.

I have around 6 months for the Interview according to my lawyer. I am learning French all by myself. Bought some books and use Google translator to memorize sentences hehe.

Now I am not abit concerned about the interview. With regards to knowledge about Quebec and work experience, I got it all sorted out. My English is fluent so its only the French. I have been very honest about my French skills in my application and there is even a chance that I may not even be invited for an interview. According to my lawyer my primary school French classes and high school French classes may convince them that I am legit.
