Hi,
I have applied in Arrima for csq in Quebec.
But invitation will be very delayed.
Therefore, I would like to apply for express entry. May I eligible for express entry?
Thanks for your kind attention.

Quebec has cancelled all 18000 pending applications and is going to concentrate on applications in Arimma..
They canceled all pending files and concentrating arrima but that fact is that they are implementing French is mandatory.....

But they should make mandatory field on Arrima, so that no body can submit. They are playing with every one, I think....

No.. that's not completely correct.. they have passed the bill saying any new comer must learn French and pass an exam within 2 years time ,but the Government of Ottawa has immediately rejected the language requirement bill passed.

Federal government can't do anything except rejecting Quebec rules... But Quebec is always do whatever they wanted to..no mercy on others... According to latest they most welcome French known ones.. They give priority to France ppl..bocz they don't want grant cost for learning French for them.. Anyhow Quebec has their very own rules for their province... But it's not should be up to us.. They didn't apply these earlier so we applied QSW.... Let's play this game until end...

Hi Friends,

Like Express Entry, interested candidates, who are eligible for the Quebec Skilled Worker Program, would have to submit an Expression of Interest as a first step.

Also similar to the Federal Express Entry system is the fact a profile will be valid for 12 months.

It is expected that after entering Quebec’s Expression of Interest pool, a candidate would receive another score based on a ranking system that determines their position in the pool, much like Express Entry’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Under the Federal Express Entry system, a candidate’s ranking score is determined by points awarded for factors such as employment, education, language skills, age, as well as additional factors. It is expected that Quebec will have a unique points-system that operates in a similar way.

Candidates would be drawn from the Expression of Interest pool through invitation rounds during which a specified number of candidates who meet or exceed a specified cut-off score would be issued invitations to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec, or CSQ).

Those issued an invitation to apply will have 90 days to submit a complete application for CSQ. Applicants who receive an CSQ from Quebec can then apply to the Government of Canada for permanent residence.

More details about this system, including the ranking system and exact start date, are expected to be announced in the near future.

QUEBEC "Expression of Interest - Déclaration d’intérêt" system.

See quebec is a French speaking province, they are slowly going to introduce French is mandatory....In 2013 they introduced French mandatory but after few months they withdraw that rule...this time they are very strict....wait for first draw ...
