I am currently working as a research assistant and my professor is paying me through stipend. Do you think this can count as valid work experience and what form should I ask him for a validation job offer.

Thanks for this. I have a question. I am trying to calculate my score to know if there is a chance for me, and so far it is looking very borderline so I am trying to get as many points as possible.
There is a section "Area of Training". The Section contains A, B, C, and D and so on. Having trained in areas under Section B gives you 3 points and trained in area under section C gives you 2 points.
I have an MSc in Operation Research (Masters) and a BSc in Economics (Bachelor).
According to the area of Training, Operations Research (Bachelor) is a section B of areas of training (I have Operations Research (Masters))
According to the area of Training, Economics(Bachelor) is a Section C of area of training( I have Economics (Bachelor)).

As having a Masters in higher in qualification than a Bachelors, can I still apply under the section B of area of training (that is Operations Research)?

I am in the same boat. I have a bachelors in visual communication which is not found anywhere in training but I have a diploma in Multimedia which I can see in Training B. Although even my visual communication degree is similar to multimedia.

No idea how they evaluate the area of training

I have the same problem.. Master's degree in software engineering and B.tech in electrical and electronics engineering. I am not sure how to proceed with it. Can you someone help me. do I get points for the area of study filed/training? I have 6 yrs exp in IT field.

I absolutely have no idea how they calculate the area of training. Never really understood this part. I'm a graphic designer, so I'm working in my field of study for 4 years which is basically multimedia.

Really need some one who is knowledgable about Quebec immigration to give some input here

Hi friends,yesterday I called my agency to ask about the status about the processing.They said we are waiting.Hope that they have started the old 2014 paper submitted files and also at the same time started with online applications.Any other views from any other agencies or lawyers?It is almost 2 year now!!!

I actually read somewhere an immigration agency wrote that midi has finished with paper applications. They even attached a screenshot.

Hi friends can anyone pls solve my problem I'm a Primary teacher (M.A,B.ed) i calculated my noc 4032 but in most provinces noc 4214 is in demand which is for early childhood educator. I have taught in kindergarten also for one year but I'm unable to understand I can apply for it or not as duties are same but it needs degree in early childhood which I don't have but some one said B.ed is enough as it covers all educational teaching subjects.
Now should I apply for 4214 without demanded degree?

B.ed covers all. Just make sure that your job description is in line with which ever Noc code you're applying for.

It is evident that the new Quebec EOI system is coming on Aug2 - are you guys getting your docs ready?

How will one can apply on 2nd if there is no information on the official Quebec website about it? And, do you need docs to be certified?

I’m just wondering to know if people are proactively ready to submit on the go-live date.

I think what will happen on 2nd August is just official launching of the program with guidelines on how to create profiles. It's more like express entry

sure it can. It depends on the NOC CODE you're applying for.

Hi guys,
I am evaluating my chances for the Quebec and I got 2 questions:
To claim points for my wife education, does she need to get and ECA ?
I got recently my IELTS test (L7.5,R7,W6,S6.5 - CLB 7) and I will sit for the TEF test by the end of the year, if I sit again for the IELTS to aim CLB 8 or CLB 9, will it help me to have some extra points for Quebec new migration system ?

Before now Quebec don't ask for ECA. I think it's better you do the French exam and get higher band than rewriting IELTS because the highest you can get with IELTS is 6points while French gives you 16.

I´m evaluating my chances to apply under the new EOI system but the only way I´m elegible is by applying with my little daughter and lefting my wife out. What do you think guys, should I and my daugther apply and if we get it, then sponsor my wife, or this option will be toughful?
