One thing I noted is that applications are processed in the order of csq issued and not when applied...this is for all to have a good idea of processing times..

here is the news. I got my PPR today at 3:00 PM. I just sent the passports out now and am now sitting down and writing this to you guys.

This is about 20 days from my RPRF request.

So they seem to be working on the QSW applications after all.

By the way, Suryak, did you get a status update of "in process"? It's almost 10 months since they received my application and I still they didnt update my status to in process!

My status went from Application Received to Decision Made in one day. They sent me the PPR and I checked my ecas today, and it said decision made.

Hi guys ..

I sent application September last year . Got aor January 26. Medicals couple weeks after and past Friday I got two emails . One for rprf payment , paid tight away . And the other for police certificate ( Mexico ) , translated birth certificate . Oh yeah , they also asked for police certificate for my wife (Mexican ) for Germany although she only studied there 5 months

Now my application shows in progress . Police certificate has been requested to Canadian embassy in Mexico and to German justice department .

Questions
1) has anybody requested certificate from
German
Police ? If so ., how long did it take ?

2) has anybody requested police certificate from Mexico ? How long did it take until
They send it to cic processing center ?

Germany is super quick! I got mine within 10 days (sent request by fax)!

Haha, I paid $1,25 for the fax at Canada Post. ;D
It saves a lot of time since it can take up to one week for the mail to arrive in Germany.
I got it back by mail 10 days later. I took a chance and didn't submit a translation since I never submitted one for my Working Holiday Visa and Young Professional Visa application and CIC never asked me for one either. When I got my AOR last month it also stated that my application is complete - if not they would have requested a translation at that point. I guess that after processing millions of visa and PR applications they just know by now that "KEINE EINTRAGUNGEN" means "NO ENTRIES".

I didn't find the option to send it by fax just an address in Bonn .

Anyways I transferred the funds by wire and sent by dhl ... Almost 150 total ..

On the English homepage it doesn't say anything about that. However, I know a non-German citizen who applied for it by fax as well. I think they merely forgot to put it on there...

I see. So you didn't have your status updated to in process before decision made. They're very random. Some people get the "in process" update, some don't. Anyway, I hope the whole process won't take more than 12 months for me. Let's see...

Documents that are not in French or English to be translated so
I guess I'll get it done when I get it on the mail ....

Hi everyone,

I PR application (CSQ-PEQ) was received at Sydney on March 4th 2015 , as i noticed that AOR is due in 2 - 3 months from sending the file ..
My question , will they request medical tests and police clearances at the same time of Acknowledging the receipt of my file ??

Anyone applied in 2015 under QSW (CSQ - PEQ)??
