Education: Master's Degree, graduated in 2008 (civil engineering)
Experience: 2 years and 1 month (after MS)
French: None ( i have studied before for one year, but it a long time ago and i forget all about it)
English: Intermediate

My wife:
27 yrs, Bachelor of English literature, no French, and has one one year experience as executive secretary

I am hoping to be beginner 3 by the time of the interview. What would you guys advise me to do. I already called AF but they told me with their group classes, it would take a long time to learn the language. What method of learning French did you guys use?

beginner 3? is that B1? thats a good target.. but you need to have serious french course.. in AF they have this intensive review 2 hours per day , classes are weekdays only. 3 modules is good for A2 .. as it is composed of 150 hours. and that 150 hours is about 3 months, the first 50 hours is the basic french, so if your target is B1 you need more than 150 hours.. I am currently enrolled in AF, and our first module will end this Sept 14... the next module will start Sept 19..

does QSW match the work experience specific to a NOC Code or it is more on how related your Bachelor/Master is to your work experience?.... just thinking on how I write down my duties and responsibilities in the application form

Experience: 2 years and 1 month (after MS) = 6
French: None ( i have studied before for one year, but it a long time ago and i forget all about it) =0 (but you will need to revisit french training)English: Intermediate (this depend on your score in IETLS, or if your study was in english from 0 to 6)
My wife:
27 yrs =3, Bachelor of English literature =0, no French =she will need to start learning , and has one one year experience as executive secretary
