My consultant did not mention any refusal letter from BIQ. But, could i get refused even without an interview? Isn't it that I wouldn't be given any file # if I have a lacking documents or i did not meet the criteria/points? I'm a bit puzzled... Thanks francaise!

Did you get any refusal letter from BIQ? if yes, what is the reason they have given for refusal. Please tell us about your case so that we can reply you accordingly.

My consultant did not mention any refusal letter from BIQ. But, could i get refused even without an interview? YES, Most of the cases who got refusal is due to lack of points. But sometimes, they give some time to the applicant to fulfill the points. Please ask your consultant about Refusal Letter or Email. Consultant must have got refusal letter or email from BIQ, if he mentioned his postal address or email in Selection certificate form. Isn't it that I wouldn't be given any file # if I have a lacking documents or i did not meet the criteria/points? yes, In initial stage, when BIQ receives an application, they give file number to the applicant by ordinary post mail or email. Post mail takes 1 to 3 months to reach applicant. Moreover, if they find any document missing, they ask to the applicant to send that missing document. I'm a bit puzzled... Thanks francaise!

My 2nd query is that full passprt photocopies or 1st & last page ?

I got 58 out of 55 points. The consultancy firm gave me a list of all the necessary requirements and I have submitted all of them. They waited for everything to be complied before they send it off to Canada. I was thinking that maybe my consultant was just making an excuse for the long queue of application. What do you think are the chances of my application being refused given that I had all the requirements and I got a high score of 58?

I got my file # last June. How long do I have to wait to get my interview? Thanks francaise!

And what is the process to register for online version of TEFaQ?
Can u share other details like fees and the time to declare result after test for TEFaQ?
I m from India and as per my knowledge, TEFaQ or the TCFaQ is not taken by Alliance Francaise here. They only arrange for TCF/TEF full version.

If you have any idea about this tests being conducted at any centre in India, pls let me know.

For single applicant, it needs 49 points minimum for interview and 55 points for CSQ. For married, 57 points minimum for interview and 63 points for CSQ.

I got my file # last June. How long do I have to wait to get my interview?Nobody knows about it exactly. But, usually it takes 3 to 6 months for priority cases and 8-12 months for non-priority cases Thanks francaise!

Hello All
I'm new to this forum, I was searching information about QSW way of immigration. I have family in Canada but not in Quebec, and since I can't apply under the current NOCs for skilled worker (non Quebec), I was wondering if I could do it through Quebec.

I went through CIC's site and then through the Quebec Immigration site and I used the tool on Quebec's site and said that I qualified.

My questions are:
If I apply through Quebec, am I constraint to live in Quebec after the visa has been issued? If so, how many months/years before I can move to another province?

When I followed the assessment tool, I stated that my first language was english, but very low in French. I heard that the interview is followed in french. What is the minimun level of French I should have in order to have a positive feedback from immigration?

Finally, the only French exam mention on the CIC site is the TEF. Is that actually the only exam I can present, or is there others ex DELF/DALF, etc? Can anyone indicate me websites where I can find very useful resources for studying at home french?
