Yeah, "francaise" is right. It is not obligatory to clear any previous level before to appear for the next level of DELF. So you can directly appear for any of the 6 level of the DELF as well as it is also allowable to appear simultaneously as many level as you want to appear for. But, some Alliance francaise centre for example Ahmedabad do not allow you for the next level until you can not clear the previous level of DELF. However Alliance francaise de Bomabay allow you to any of the 6 level of DELF directly and it also do not insisted that you must be their student. Just pay the reg. fee+exam. fee,if you are external student and if you are internal student just pay exam fee and that's it.

Merci Beaucoup mon amis!
So, it is better to get enrol with AF Bombay for DELF Exam.
Friends, any idea about TEF exam date and exam centre in india? Pls share.
Hi quebec2011, been away for a while. They asked you for certificates ? strange.quebec2011 said:They said that they are not allowing without certificate to take DELF A2 or B1 exams. Even they insisted that you should be taking full 2 parts of A1 in order to be allowed to take DELF A1 exam. This happened to me as well as to my wife in AF bangalore. I hope I am wrong but this happened. Maybe the rule has changed.

I know for a fact ( just double checked rightnow too) that Alliance francaise, Bangalore doesnt ask for ur prev certificates to appear for exams. atleast not for A-B levels.
I did my A1 DELF while i was in A1 part2. Currently am doing my A2,P1 and i'm appearing for my delf A2 tomorrow (wish me luck )
external candidates (self study/other institutes) can also register for DELF.
You need to provide some proof if you wish to join classes of any level except A1.

@ vibez_well,
Bon chance!
Till what time results will be declared.
pls tell me how much time it took for you to reach to A2 level? I am just starting my preparation and I m doing my job too.
So just finding it difficult to strike a good balance between work and study hours.
I want to take A1 and A2 exams simultaneously in Nov 2011 and also planning to take TCF in Oct 2011. But could not prepare well till now.
If u can give some advice or share tips for better preeparation.
Merci.

I enrolled in Feb this yr and have stuck onto it. 7-9am class works for me. For DELF A1 I think you can easily appear if you do A1 Part1 + some exam oriented preparation. Lot of books available to help prepare.
This is good to get accustomed to the phonetics. http://www.litteratureaudio.com
I dont do anything else other than this and some basic reading at the AF library. and yeah, lots of french movies. dont know if that helped but it sure was entertaining !!
I've some A1 prep books (softcopy) including the Audio. I can share that if you like.
I feel the daily classes are better - the weekend classes are too spaced out and i was sure i'll forget everything by the time i come back for the next one.
which city are you at ?
Merci !
