@ wings..... Nice one there sept 1st as ur E.T.A. Aw much is it gonna cost u to fly to Montréal 4rm ur side. The cheapest 4rm my end is $ 1,500. BTW, av u sent a case specific inquiry to ur VO? If no,pls send them one 2mao & request an update on ur file.
Egrace, The flight from where I am to Montreal is 550 EUROS, that is pretty good price, I think. Also, do you really think I should send them a case specific enquiry? I've never done it before but I know they often do not reply to emails as I think they dont like to be bothered.

I think u already took ur medicals nov 2010 right? Another area is pregnancy. If u already are pregnant, then it ll b better u land b4 ur delivery so that u wont need to return to d BIQ stage d 2nd time for reissuance of ur CSQ. Pls can u share ur profile being selectd based on d file means u av presentd a strong case? What documents did u submit for ur hussie. Did Biq ask for them? Or u just sent them.
Thanks egrace!
Well i have no intention to have a baby for the time being as i want to be stable in Canada first.
1. I have 5 years of experience in Financial Services.

2.I am working as Administrator and have an IT tutor job part time job for the government.

3.I have a BSc in IT & MSc in Finance.

4. English and French Fluent writing and speaking.(advanced level i selected in my form)

What else you i can share?

For myself i have just provided a true certified copy supporting all of the above points and same for my hubby together with our marriage certificate.

It was quite simple..

Yeah the first copy of the CSQ is normally sent to CHC + the titulaire which i kept was requested by BIQ in March this year.
So ive had to return it and since am still waiting for a reply...
Btw as my medical is going to expire in November do you think CHC will be able to issue send medical request letter for my hubby also?

I wanted to make sure that i go this year.

Thanks a lot

CHC does not av issues, just that any action they take must not av breached BIQ protocol... so as it is... u seems to av overcome the obstacle which is BIQ... the moment CHC get the new CSQ.... ur hussie will not need to queue again..... he will av to proceed with his medicals. as a proof u see the CHC have been disturbing u to submit d new CSQ since they thought u probably are keeping it...within two months in CHC ur case should av been finalized... lets just pray d postal guys hasten things up....
was ur first CSQ a priotized case? any PERM 132 ( Priority treatment)

I wanted to make sure that i go this year.

Dear Quebec2011
thanks for your information. I was not aware that all BIQ DAMASCUS have been moved to Montreal.
I applied from Abu dhabi for QSW in Aug 2010 and received AOR in OCT 2010 from DAMASCUS.
I sent to BIQ DAM my Level-1 course result from Alliance Francise as well in Feb 2011.
Can any one guide me whether it is fine to go with Level-1.
French course my points prior to the level-1 course where 58-59.
Where are the Interviews for Applicants from Abu dhabi are being conduted now?
What shall i do now?

appreciate any update.

regards

Mazhar

I think you can improve your language proficiency , infact it is a great investment for your future in Quebec.

Now you should wait because I know few people who have file number of july and august and still they are not called for interview.

Good luck

Dear Quebec2011

Although i applied by myself, but one agent told me that since i mentioend in my application that i know french up to basic level only and my points are already more than 57 so my interview will be mostly in english. A small part of the interview will be in french. Is that true? I have seen people preparing for TEFAQ, A1,A2, but i dont have any thing.
I am worried about what to do. I am improving my french by listening frenchpod.com.
i would appreciate you advice.
If I am called for an interview, will that be in Abu Dhabi, or in London?

I think your agent has misguided you, because as far as I know those who had attended interview and they had more than 57 points without french but still they had 90% of their interviews in french.

My BIQ is Hong kong so I have no idea where is your interview gonna be, i think those whose BIQ was Damascus can help you with this.

Ask your question in this thread:http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-2010-applicants-damasucs-visa-office-t34884.615.html

I just checked application processing times for Quebec federal as today they were updated and my country went from 6 to 10 months. I am so pissed and I honestly have no more patience for this immigration thing.

I just came back a few months ago from Canada and I dont understand what the hell theyre checking on me that it takes soooooooooo long. If there was something wrong with me then Im sure they wouldnt let me in to Canada in the first place.

@wingsofmaybe777
Thats really sad to hear. Same for me, visa office increased processing time from 9 to 11 months! Not much time savings from Buffalo which is 14 months so I will just submit to Buffalo then. I think the increased processing times is due to increased volume of applicants and I think the Quebec route will shut pretty soon as a back door entry as I dont imagine everyone applying really wants to settle there if not there wont be a surge.

Re: (No subject)
