Above all d distinctn between d two Civil engineering has more 2do with college & univercity.for this course d college training earn d prioriy.also note that if ur degree transcript shws courses as obtain in a college,then it also ll b consider for priority

Thanks again for your help. I double checked and now I understand what you mean when you mention 2 different Civil Engineering professions, 1 is @ a technician level and 1 is @ the university level.

I went ahead and sent my papers in today. I didn't want to wait 3 weeks until I had the slip from the AF. I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Hi egrace...Nope i have got no priority selection...it was just a normal application like other but i have more than the required number of points i guess.

I have to wait nearly 9 months to get this CSQ!Gosh!its a lot!If i were single i would have beene gone in March this year.

Hi ABMIR, if you have learnt french at school and college like mauritian does i dnt think u need to go through Tefaq..

Well i am nt able to advise if you should send the results to BIQ.

May b egrace or sme experience persons on this forum can guide you.

Ive had no interview at all...nt even for my husband.

Dear Friends As you know I have been waiting for interview nearly for 10 month but still they haven't communicated anything, I called them I sent them e-mails but every time I got one reply that wait and wait because your file is still under study. It is for over 4 months that I am getting same response, One of our friends in this forum who has AOR of November 2010 he recently got a letter in which they had told him that you are listed for interview, but still there is nothing for me.

We have program for our life so how long else should I wait and they delay my case for unknown reasons?I think I have been waiting enough for a clue but I think these people are not at all bothered about it, and when you are asking them about the reason that why someone is getting something and I don't, they say that we can't give any comment about the status of other's files. What could be wrong do you think?

Received my file number

Hi people !

after waiting for 3 months and no file number / AoR, I mailed the BIQ, HK for an update yesterday. Today I got a reply back with a file number and that the file is in queue.

So its the same waiting game as everyone else, just that I got to know my file number. Now, I can update BIQ if there are any changes/updates.

DELF exams are coming up in another 2 weeks in India. Anyone appearing ?

b. All in all, you have a very strong profile scoring an average of between 62 and 64 without French. I will suggest you take a french exam as this will strengthen your application further and completely eliminate the possibility of an interview. Meanwhile, you can go ahead and submit your application now but remember your area of training is on the priority list and therefore you should be contacted sooner than you expect. All priority cases are meant to be concluded within a space of 60 days. Good luck.

You will earn two points from your partner's level of education thereby bringing your total points to 62. As i suggested earlier, you and your spouse should try and sit for and submit a french result as this will greatly improve your chances of being selected from file. A2 level will be very fine for you and A1 for your spouse. This will earn you additional 8 points (6+2) bringing your total to 70 points which is a very comfortable place to be.

Please do not allow the french exam to delay the submission of your application. Join the queue first and receive your AOR then update your file as soon as you can.
