Egrace,

Thanks so much for your thorough explanation. Yes, this is the first time I am experiencing address disappearience. Hopefully thats a good sign.
As you all know, I almost reached a 2 month period after medicals so it would be a reasonable time for a PPR.
Well, trying not to get too excited but keeping my fingers crossed :)

Guys,

Any info if TCFaQ or TEFaQ is conducted in India?
I asked the office at AF Delhi, and they gave me information on TEF.

Guys,

I am fairly new in the forum and recently filed my application.

I am already actively networking with Québec-based potential employers with very good responses and feedback. If in the next few weeks I get a job offer from one of them I will obviously submit a copy of the JO to the BIQ that is processing my CSQ.

How can this positive change of scenario accelerate the processing of my CSQ? Is it safe to assume that I will not have to wait more than 6 months to get it?

Dear Lenny,

Good to hear that.
Please confirm which is your AOT and from what location have you applied.
What level of french you have cleared before submitting the application for CSQ?

Thanks..
Kaps

I guess TEF and TCF are conducted but not sure about TCFaQ.

Also, what is the primary difference between TEF and TCF.

Hi Fiirm,

I am relying mostly on my very small but helpful network of close friends and relatives already living in Québec.

I strongly recommend that you do this since personal references are very important.

Best,
Lenny

Hi Kaps1706,

I submitted my application enclosing the results of 2 tests:

- TEFaQ
- DELF B2

In both tests I scored fairly high, especially in the TEFaQ.

Training
a. Educational Attainment – BSc 4Yrs, MSc (UK) 2007 - 12 Points
b. Area of Training – Accounting/Finance - 6 Points
2. Experience - 6 years in banking - 8 Points
3. Age - 33 - 16 Points
4. Language
a. English - study and work in english - 6 points (Here you might at least wish to include letter from either ur employers or institution stating that the medium of communication has been english)
French - cant enroll in class but started learning thru books - (If called for interview, you might need to defend this but keep learning and ensure you at least tick a level on the application form in this section)
5. Family and Stay in Quebec - None - 0

6. Characteristics of spouse or common-law partner:
a. Educational Attainment - Master in 2006, BA in Public Admin - 3 Points
b. Area of Training - Public Admin - 0 Points
c. Age -32 - 3 Points
d. French - enroll in a french class (though not AF)- (keep learning and ensure a level is ticked for her as well)
7. Validated Job Offer - NONE
8. Children – 2 - 8 Points
9. Financial Self Sufficiency – yes - 1 Points

Help with the point.

Based on the given profile you have a total of 63 points which could make you scale through without an interview but I doubt if this will play out that way since your level of french would most likely want to be assessed as you are not including any conclusive evidence that could point out your level of fluency or understanding. So, I'll say from experience expect an Interview and here you can show your level and readiness to keep learning.

Best of luck bro.

Hello Lenny,

Could you hint us on how you are going about the networking with potential Quebec-based employers......am sure this will greatly help a lot of people on this forum.
Also, I'm sure getting a job offer will surely give your application Priority processing.
