By all means submit it if you have one else claim enough french points to help you qualify for interview else you will be risking rejection. You can also include french registration proof just to show them that you are truly committed to learning the language. Please note that this will not be used as a french proficiency proof for you and therefore no points will be awarded with respect to french. You will still need to sit for a recognised french test or wait for your french level to be determined at the interview.

Good luck.

Thank you DONSOFT for your message.

Regarding my area of training, well, it is a bit difficult for me to assess how the BIQ office will evaluate it.

I am an Industrial Engineer with more than 7 years of experience in SAP consulting and in 2009 I got an MBA degree from a well-ranked US university.

If you, or anybody on the forum, can help me assess how this professional background will be considered by the BIQ office, I would appreciate it.

Thanks and best of luck for everyone.

You have filed a very strong application indeed. Is your area of training in the priority list? Your application will most likely processed fast. Wishing you all the best and don't forget to share the good news when it comes.

Shijoal,

I just strictly followed the instructions of the official website.

Pick your country of residence of the list: h t t p : / / www . immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/biq/

And then go to "Information sur la demande de certificat de sélection - travailleurs permanents"
And finally go to "Liste de formulaires et documents à joindre".

And there you go, that is the list of documents. Take the time to be strict with yourself and ensure you have **everything**.

I hope this helps,
Lenny

Industrial Engineering falls under section E of foreign degrees and obviously will not earn you any point under the area of training criteria but i want to believe your MBA will earn you 6 points under area of training since it was obtained less than five years ago, but will not qualify you for priority processing anyway. Whatever happens, i believe you have filed a very strong case and should have your CSQ in your hands within five to eight months from now. All the best and continue learning french while you wait :D.

Hello All,

I just graduated last month from Everest University, Orlando, Florida with a MBA in HR. I previously have Master's Computer Management and Bachelor's in Commerce from India. I also have 1year experience working as a receptionist and 6months experience working as an audit and accounts assistant in India.

I recently got my FREE Assessment done for Canada Immigration from Attorney David Cohen's website. He says I am eligible to apply under skilled worker for Quebec.

I wanted to know if we do not go through a lawyer how much does it cost? I believe having a lawyer is always safe right?

Has anyone here used David Cohen as there lawyer?

welcome on board bro..... to hire an agent to handle ur file u must be ready to pay nothing less than 2000 dollar.. that is the cheapest u can get. some charge up to 3500 dollar. but note that the use of an attorney does not in any increase ur chance at all... Arrtoney/agents/lawyers are just NEUTRAL GEAR

Thank you egrace for your reply. I understand that. I just feel it will be easier to go through an attorney since they take care of all the documents required.

I still want to know views on David Cohen...has anyone here used him?

Hello DONSOF,
Could you please elaborate more on the issue of foreign diploma that falls within the regulated professions in Quebec.
My medical diploma was neither obtained in France nor Canada, does that mean it will not be accepted?
Thanks!

Thank you DONSOFT for your encouraging words. I also feel my application is very strong.

I will keep learning and increasing my knowledge of French in the meantime.

Best,
Lenny

It will be accepted just that you need Quebec Regulatory body authorisation to practise in the Province. A Quebec regulatory body in charge of your profession would have to attest that you meet the required training conditions and the professional experience required to practise.

I just feel it will be easier to go through an attorney since they take care of all the documents required. - It is not easier as you will still be the one to gather the documents. All they do is to make sure the documents are complete and then submit your application. The process is pretty straight forward and the BIQ officers are even more lienient than the FSW officers. If you miss out a document, they will write you to provide it immediately. I wil suggest you do it yourself as this will help understand Quebec as a province before you finally relocate. All you need to file a credible application is to download what i call the Quebec Immigration Bible 4rm http://www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=7&file=GPI-3-1.pdf . By the time you read it cover to cover, you would have understood the whole application process. Egrace and chibiks has already said it all just trying to add my two cents anyway.

I still want to know views on David Cohen...has anyone here used him? As EGrace mentioned earlier, STILLHOPE in this forum filed his application through him. Cohen is a great guy and knows his onions very well. I know a lot people also that he has helped secure PR VISa for via the FSW route. On a final note, if you are that buoyant, use him as he is very professional and thorough also. Good luck bro and welcome to the forum.

DONSOFT,

Many thanks for ur quick response to my query.
So I should proceed with my application plans for QSW or changed to FSW?
I have done DELF A1 and A2 just waiting to take my ielts next wkend in Trinidad before sending my application.
But I won't mind changing my appliaction to FSW if my chances in QSW is less than 50%. I also need ur honest advice here.
I know with my medical diploma, I will need certifying exams in canada if my application is successful.
Thanks.
