i called the Montreal office today to check the status of my file and the lady mentioned that it is still waiting to be processed. They are currently processing files through July 2010. I applied in Feb 2011 so still long way to go

Yes I did recieve a file number in March!

What did you do for them to reconsider your case?

i just sent my degarees and transcripts and employment letters again to them, and tried to explain in details.

Thanks for the link. I went thro' the link and found Business Administration in the areas of training(Section C, Foreign Degrees,Points-6.Also it is mentioned in the quebec degree,Section B,12 points).

I am confused.Which one should i consider? is indian MBA is equivalent to quebec degree?

So, How many points will i earn for my edu.qualification and area of training?

Kindly clarify.

e lol.. Guys I'm back coz i havé a question.. My friend is applying for CSQ a nursing graduate more than 5 yeArs but currently working as an instructor in the same field... Do you think he Will still get points for thé Aot?? Does being a professor Will consider you as practicing your profession? Though hé goes on the field during affiliation with students.. Many thanks to those who Will reply..

i already finished my A1 guys.. ill be sending my application NeXT week.. Wish me luck!

So, How many points will i earn for my edu.qualification and area of training? If your area of training is related to your Experience and you have worked in it then AOT will give you 6 points otherwise nil, and 12 for your MBA.

even if his masters had been older than 5yrs, he still will av gotten all the privileges cos he his practicing in his AOT. it is only those who are not practicing in line with there AOT and with degrees older than 5yrs that usually av issues
