I just want to know can anyone tell me how long I have to wait for file number and after that how much time it will take for further immigration....

Am I writing the date of your application correctly 8th DEC 2008??? If yes then where have you been in last 2 and half year? This is super strange...could please share more details with us??

I m surprised u,just remember after 2.5year.I m sure u mentioned date 8 Dec 2008 is wrong. But still Try to send email to Hong Kong Quebec immigration office and find out what happened with your application.

Suddenly something came to my mind that this applicant is coming under prior October 2009 batch so his case is different and might take several years to be finalized. Please don't ask me why is it different because I don't know either.

Dear Pritam, just one advice for u.
if u still wish to immigrate to Quebec, then reapply. cos i dont think this 2008 file of urs will ever be processed. cos 2008 falls under d old system, and believe u me, 2008 was one of those years where CSQ processing takes a maximum of 6months and it comes with medical form. since u are yet to receive ur file number, that suggest just ONE thing: YOUR FILE DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE BIQ OFFICE IN THE FIRST PLACE,
OR THE CORRESPONDENCE U WERE SENT WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS> JUST go Re-apply, and as QUEBEC2011 has stated dontv go to sleep this time around when u re-apply. stay alert with ur EYES wide OPEN

Can any one tell me how long I have to wait for my file number....and after file number how much time it will take to complete immigration...

Please don't ask me why is it different because I don't know eitherdont worry i m not going to ask u because i remember that it was very very difficult to qualify for quebec immigration before 2009.

May I know if you studied french or still studying/ learning french? Is it true one has to know french before he applies as Quebec immigrant?

Ok then this is normal the only thing that he has missed is the AOR and that might have been lost in post office so He can contact BIQ HK and let them know the situation.
