@Kammar :

that is great , I just want to know are u sure that the IT field doesn't need any equivalence in Quebec

and what about finding a job in IT in Quebec is that easy or .... ??

I'm currently working as a Technical consultant but I think finding a DBA opportunity will be a good idea instead of travelling a lot with the consultancy :)

best regards :)

Hello guys,

Sorry for being away so long...
I have been busy with work and just after that nice break...
Just to let you knw that I am still waiting for my CSQ
Its already 7 months.

Regards,

Shannone

I would like to thank those to replied to my post.
Its a kind of encouragment you guys are giving as i need people who can give the maximum info abt Quebec/Canada.
So guys, for all those who plan to get married while your application is being processed...prepare urself to wait.
Well my work keeps me busy so i dont get that much frustrated..otherwise everyday i check the quebec website to see if they have updated their site regarding processing time.

Does any1 have an idea about living standard in Vancouver?

Btw my cousin-sister is just back from Quebec and she is very impressed regarding the way Quebec govt organize events for the Quebec residents.

Is it true?

Rgds,

Shannone

@ Lirjan,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I keep praying for you guys and I hope you will get your CSQs soon!

I am at the point where I did my medicals last week and basically I am waiting for PPR. I am sooo stressing out and I really want this process to be over soon so I can move on with my life and finally settle down permanently in Quebec.

So guys.. (Lirjan, Shahi, Iceberg, Manoylo and the rest of the crew) I truly hope that we can all meet in Quebec and celebrate soon!

All the best to everyone!

@ Egypt2011,

The email you gave me was wrong, I got a failure notification. Do you know by any chance where are they making tests in summer, July and August ?

Based on my info, IT is not regulated and does not need equivlance. I'm not sure about finding a job, but They do have Oracle and SAP in montreal plus many other companies. I think it should be fine, hopefully. Note that I don't live in quebec so I really not sure about job market there. Shahi is looking for jobs in IT consulting, may be he can tell us more.

Hi! Another Quebec PR applicant here. I'm very pleased to know that we are all on the same boat.

Visa office: (London)
Submitted my Requirements: March '10
First Interview Invitation: July '10 (I requested that this interview be moved as I wasn't very confident about my French)
Interview Rescheduled on (Paris): September '10 - Got my CSQ
Forwarded CSQ and Background Security check : November '10
Received Client Number and Medical Forms: April '11

Current Status: Medical Results were already received and I am waiting for the next step which I believe is the immigration people telling me to submit my passport and other requirements.

Btw, I am a registered nurse.

I would also appreciate if someone could have a glance at another thread I made for some of my concerns. Thank you.. :D

Kind Regards.
