(7.5 in speaking and listening)
(6.5 in reading and writing)

Can I apply with this Ielts for quebec (PR) or I need to do general (Ielts) ????

Here is a list of letters that BIQ uaually send applicants depending on the stage and the applicants condition.
at the preliminary stage, the following letter can be issued.
PERM 401: letter showing intention to refuse file as a result of applicants not complying with regulatory reqirements.e.g failure to dign-off on declarations/common values of Quebec

PERM 401a: Refusal letter usually issued if applicant fails to comply within 60days the provisions stated in PERM401

PERM 400: Intention to reject file bcos officials doubt the veracity of documents provided.

PERM 399a: Rejection letter if applicants fails to respond to PERM 400 within 60days

PERM 115: A letter indicating list of missing documents in applicants package

PERM: 111: acceptation to treat file. this letter indicates that an applicant has scaled 2ru paper Screening

SUSPENSE Stage: this is the link between the preliminary stage and the selection stage. this stage usually arises if
1) fees av not been fully paid
2) Additional Docs is/are required
3) the services of security agencies is needed to carryout some verification
as a result of any of these, the officer will not be able to make a decision. those who did not include french attestation e.t.c,

SELECTION STAGE:

PERM 121: convocation for interview

PERM:124: Interview in waiting. a date will be communicated later.

PERM 115b: Invitation letter to pass a standard French test

FINAL STAGE

PERM 132a: a letter accompanying CSQ with Priority treatment

PERM 403: intention to refuse at interview

PERM 403a : refusal letter as a result of applicant not complying with the conditions stated in PERM 403 within 60days

PERM 399 : intention to Reject file as a result of falsification at interview

PERM 399a: rejection letter as a result of non compliance with the provisions of PERM 399

I am waiting for PPR. Now I have received a Job offer in Quebec with a comfirmation letter.
Please advice if I should inform the VO about it or have to wait until PPR comes.

since BIQ doesnt insist on the IELTS itself, (a letter from ur Univ will do) it shouldnt matter if your IELTS certificate is academic/general.

To play it safe you could also include a letter from your university stating that the medium of instruction was english.

Congrats,

You are already a permanent resident as u are just waiting for them to ask for the PP so in my opinion u don't need to notify them.

Although offer of employment usually guarantee speed, offer of employment at this stage of ur processing will only lengthen ur wait time. cos the Job offer will have to be subjected to verification for to authenticate if the right procedure was followed. hence stay put as Gerububaboy stated and pray that ur medical is ok.

Yes, you need to notify them!!!! Your application will be prioritized and you will get the visa immediately.

Yes, you need to notify them!!!! who is he to notify BIQ or CHC for QSW validation of job offer does not fall under the jurisdiction of CHC it falls under BIQ hence he will need to inform BIQ which means he will have to return his CSQ ( and he will be issued another CSQ which will carry the inscription: Treatement Prioritaire CSQ OEV apres le 14 october 2009) all these will consume time. now considering the fact that a copy of his CSQ is already in the custody of the VIsa office, that means he firrst will have to write the visa office about his intension to withdrawal his application so that he can get back his CSQ b4 sending back to BIQ. the visa office can also help send the CSQ to BIQ for re-issuance but this will be at their own-pace. so the cost of wanting priority far ot-way the benefit at this stage. were it to b that he is yet to get his CSQ, then the offer of employment would av had a very great deal of +ve impact application will be prioritized and you will get the visa immediately. Nope, procedures will b followed as stated above
