StillHope, Thanks for the post. I again posted it. I deleted because it was not formatted properly.

Is there any chance you think, I might get the Interview Waiver?

as per forum information they will only waived the interview if you are a native speaker or your qualification et al is beyond excellent. but who knows if they review your application and the deem it more than enough then you'll get the waiver. ;)

just submit your application and start from there. good luck buddy and welcome on board!!!

Hello Myroyce,

I sent my documents to attorney for Quebec Skilled Worker Program in Jan'2011.

Attorney sent the documents to Hongkong Office on Feb'04'2011. I got a letter from Government of Quebec on Mar'15'2011 mentioning that they don't recognize my attorney and needs to file for representation as per new policies effective from Feb'02'2011. They also returned my Credit Card payment form as processing payment of $395. This letter had one file number on it, starting with HA.

Then, I sent one representation form to my attorney and they filled for represntation along with $100 as representation fee. He filled for represntation in Apr'2011. Also, he sent the payment for processing again in May'2011.

I havn't heard anything back from anyone yet. Please share your experiances.

Thanks,
Vipul

What do you mean by "IT is not Regulated"

Think they mean IT aint standardized in the manner Law,Medicine,Architecture et al and other 'prestigous' professions are are tightly controlled.

Is it a good sign or bad for people like me?

Hi Myroyce, think case worker's discretion will also play a part, there's someone who got a waiver with Delf A2 French.

You mean with regards to belonging to an unregulated profession? It's easier/advantageous in penetrating [getting a job] in such a sector due to the limited barriers of entry. I know of someone whose just a job in IT in Montreal with only Cisco which [forgive my ignorance] am assuming is less than you've, he's only just bn there a couple of weeks.

@nanieyow ,

What is your area of training?
As far as I know you can apply without getting the equivalence of your degree from the government of Quebec.
