Yea, the TEFAQ is much shorter than the regular TEF. However, the results are sent directly to immigration. If you score badly, that's not such a great thing. With the TEF, you can look at your results before sending them off, because they come directly to you.
I've heard the TEF is easier than the DELF, at least at the more advanced levels. Not sure though.
I did the TEF, and did pretty well (high Int in Oral and Grammar, Advanced in Listening and Reading), but I've been studying for a while. I thought the test was Exhausting though - it took 3.5 hours, and that really affected me, especially for the Oral part. I looked at some DELF High Int stuff online and thought it looked difficult.
