hey Shahi, thanks a lot for your reply ,

but I am confused here by your reply to my Q-1 , that is you said "write as your name appears in passport!!..." but in my passport there is Family Name and Given Names so there I can include my father's name with my name(i.e. First Name) , but here in CSQ they just asked for Family Name and First Name(and not the Given Names) so here do just need to write down only my first name (i.e. yogie) without my father's name ????

thanks again Shahi.

in Q1 identification, there is a column family name at birth: here you have to write ur surname (i.e father's name), in the second column which is First name: here you have to write your own name.

Hey friends,

I'm planning to apply for CSQ and I have gathered all the documents.
I work in the Czech Republic and I'm supposed to send my application to Vienna.
Unfortunately, I really cannot find out how and where to pay the fees. The Austrian website doesn't show the name of the bank. The Czech bank CSOB which was quoted in the application has closed its account. I really need your help!!!!!

you can just write it as it appears in your passport dude. In the indian passport, the name appears as "Surname" and "given name"

Family name is Surname (as in passport)
First name is Given name (as in passport) & whatever is provided in that field.

primary language of work : better to state it as english.

if dont have a spouse, then its not applicable for you right ? :)

this helps ?

oh, vibez_well !!!

you solved my 75 % confusion but It would be highly appreciated if u could throw some light regarding the Q- 8.1

also please clarify that if my primary language of work is not english (though we use it but not totally ) ,then still I can put it in that
Q-9 ?or I just need to mention what it is actually being used that is Hindi and Gujarati ??? Also if Hindi and Gujarati is used equally then what should I put in it(both or either)?

Thanks again vibez_well, shahi and angeleye .

Well explained Angeleye!!

Shahi

>>sorry, am not sure abt 8.1
its definitely not options 1,2 or 4.

Diploma or training recognized as equivalent by a Québec regulatory body (except medical degree)

wonder if Indian degrees/diplomas come under this category or is it just applicable for qualifications that are required to be certified by regulatory bodies (like engineering etc)

I suppose its ok to state it as English (carries more weight ?) You are anyways submitting your language scores separately. you could also back this up with a letter from teh employer that you functioned primarily in english ?

Shahi,

I have encountered one problem as I just realized that for one of my jobs I have sent the original job certificate instead of a copy with the original application for CSQ. Now I went to my job and they only issued me a copy of it because they cant issue another original document.

My fault!!! as I should have sent the copy of the document with the application and keep the original to myself.

Will this cause a problem? At the interview... does the officer have your complete application package in front of them so I can show them that they already have the original document?

Please reply asap.

Thank you so much!

Wingsof...
Dont worry!!...carry the new copy your old employer has issued....and they will have all the documents in the one file.... hence you can alwyas mention tht you sent the original one!!!

Wont be a problem at all!!!

Cheers
Shahi
