Thanks so much Lirjan,

I have pretty much practiced speaking all that. I have no problem talking to myself but i know it will be much different talking in front of the immigration officer, thats what scares me the most.
Well anyways, I'll keep talking every day, I also booked two private lessons with my French teacher to talk to her like i am talking to an immigration officer so hopefully that will ease the stress and help a bit.

Oh btw Lirjan, if you could post your post-interview experience as soon as you get a chance, it would be wonderful.

I keep praying for the 3 of us to get out of there with our CSQs!

Good luck~! :)

@ wings
I am going to take my laptop with me because I have my works that I want to show to the officer. I checked to my hotel and they have wireless so I will post my experience as soon as I will get out from embassy.

Hey Guys,

Great to see all of you working hard!!...Well Wingsof & Lirjan..it is a great to practice in front of a teacher ...like a dress rehearsal!.. tht will help you...
During the interview believe you me after first five mins.. you ll feel nice and confident!!... look in to his/her eyes and have a smiling face....they keep feeding your info in the laptop they have..hence there is a lot of time with you in the interview cabin itself to sort of prepare for the next question...be relaxed!!

Good luck guys!!

Questions about French levels to reach, for Canadian PR via Quebec

Hello everybody,
I'm a new member to this list, and I'm sorry if what I'm about to ask has been discussed many times over, I'm scouring through the forum to assimilate all the information.
I'm going to apply to move to Quebec, as a Quebec skilled worker. I understand that Quebec speaks French, and had questions specifically about the same:

1. I read on the forums, about people taking DELF courses, levels A1, B1, etc. What level should I reach, (DELF A1, A2, B1, or TEFAQ levels) for a Canadian PR, through Quebec?

2. Do I need to have COMPLETED the DIPLOMA, before applying, or is it sufficient to have joined a course, and show intentions of learning the language?

Please advice, thanks a lot in advance,
Krishna

yeah u can apply without knowledge of french all u need is 55points. those who usually benefit from this no-knowledge-of-french situation are those who fall under the preferred area of training. my advise is this: if your point is sufficiently above 55 ( if u are applying single) or sufficiently above 63 for double then u will scale 2ru although u might still have to show little effort that u have made. but if ur point is not above 55/63 depending on ur case, i will advise u submit u send ur application and then take classes for to b able to clear DELF/DALF

1) the level of french exam to take depends on ur situation. for some they need to secure all 16points alloted for french b4 they can scale 2ru to get their CSQ while some one else will just need 2points for french for to scale 2ru. so it depends on what u are able to secure from other points.
2) it is not a MUST that u should av completed the course b4 u apply, although submiting all docs + french result has the advantage of considerably reducing ur wait-time.

hey Shahi, thanks a lot for your reply ,

but I am confused here by your reply to my Q-1 , that is you said "write as your name appears in passport!!..." but in my passport there is Family Name and Given Names so there I can include my father's name with my name(i.e. First Name) , but here in CSQ they just asked for Family Name and First Name(and not the Given Names) so here do just need to write down only my first name (i.e. yogie) without my father's name ????

thanks again Shahi.

i have applied on 16th of April, 2010.

Hey friends,

I'm planning to apply for CSQ and I have gathered all the documents.
I work in the Czech Republic and I'm supposed to send my application to Vienna.
Unfortunately, I really cannot find out how and where to pay the fees. The Austrian website doesn't show the name of the bank. The Czech bank CSOB which was quoted in the application has closed its account. I really need your help!!!!!
