hello new2can

yes you are right a1 is beginner level,i am suggesting you that just start learning french now when you receive interview that time may be you are in B1 or b2 level of french and that time you will be very comfortable to clear the interview (if it required).

are you living in canada, if yes then where.

thanks

Perhaps that is because there might ot be enough applications as of now to schedule an interview...dont forget that Quebec also plans the inflow of immigrants region wise...so when they think tht immigrants from a particular region are req ..they will schedule an interview...

The imp point for all you friends is to start/continue learning french!!

Good luck!

Hello wings. I am from Albania and my visa office for federal application is in Rome Italy. I am too happy that the date is coming, but in a same time a little afraid.
I am trying to memorise and to learn all my Work experiences, plans in the future and sure what Quebec and Montreal are about. But in the end i have no much time to study because i work 8 to 10 hours a day and when i turn home my kid wont let me sit and study. Than i try learn in the evening when soon i feel sleepy. Anyway i thing they will understand the sacrifice i am doing these days, they have families too. Just show that you are trying your best and working hard to learn French and you really love to be apart of their country. At the end as ser_sight said we will all get our CSQ.

No man that is for federal application skilled workers for the federal provinces. The federal application after getting CSQ takes 2-3 months . i know many people from my country that have applied in Rome after taking CSQ and all the cases experiences of PR Visa were not more than 4 months.

Yes federal part!!....however don't be discouraged by high processing times!!..as it reflects 80 % of the files...i guess for an application it takes half of the time mentioned for each visa office... i know New Delhi for example for QSW..is like 4-5 months!!..although 8 months is mentioned

Oh so Warsaw visa office says 6 months... does that mean it will only take 3-4 months to process? Wow that would be great!!!

Well.. first we have to get CSQs anyways :)

Guys, I have a question regarding the interview preparation.

I have answered on almost every question I could find on the Internet BUT:
1. should I learn about Quebec's population and society, social institutions, economy, industry, legal institutions, municipal institutions, public finance, education system, major reforms, cultural life, etc... and all that through history????
2. can somebody post a link maybe, with actual info's about current political system, religious and etc.

I have learned the major history of Quebec, from Jacques Cartier (the year when he has discovered Quebec, he landed in Gaspe in 1534), following the seven years war and Lord Durham and that in 1848 when the first democratic government of the Province of Canada (the colony formed by the union of the Lower (Quebec) and Upper (everything else) Canada) was established.

Am I going to much 'in the deep'?

Can someone help me, please! I think that EVERYTHING is important! :D

Thanx...

I dont know if I would focus on history so deeply, I mean yes you should know the major facts but do not go crazy like memorizing stuff from wikipedia.

I, personally, am focusing more on my education, experience and why I want to choose Quebec.

But lets hear others opinions... guys... we need you!!!!

Yeah... Do you think that facts like who discovered Quebec, when, what the flag represents, and other major historic data will be on the interview?
I think that who discovered it and the flag question will be asked, but... I don't know... I am confused!!!!

What can you say about education except what you have studied and when you graduated? Maybe future plans, phd or something?

I know everything to answer on french except for my work experience. I have almost 4 papers with all info's about my work, projects I did etc. There is no way I could answer on that part on french. I could do it on English...

Pfffffff........
