Lirjan...

This simply means that no interview has been scheduled for your country as yet... it will be soon..so continue with you prep.. you will get a letter or e-mail soon abt ur interview date as and when the interviews are schduled for your country... my personal guess is that will be april may...

Good luck

Hi all! I really need your help for this dilemma of mine. I am prepared to send all my documents to a Quebec immigration office but I am not sure where.
Here's the thing:
I work here in Saudi Arabia for about 6 months already, previously I was in the Philippines. So should I send my application to the Hong Kong office or the Damascus office? As the Quebec immigration website stated, a customary residence is one that you have legally resided in for 1 year.
I was working here in Saudi Arabia for about 2 years and half, however after two years of working in one place, I resigned and returned back to the Philippines for about a month or so, after which I got hired again here in Makkah. Since then it has only been about 6 months.

Where should I submit my papers, to the Damascus office which is the designated office for applications coming from Saudi Arabia or the Hong Kong office which is responsible for applications from the Philippines?

Please I really need your inputs on this. My application is still hanging. I have no idea what do at this point. :-[

Hello everyone

I am new to the forum and have found most of the information very useful. I intend to submit an application to the Quebec office in Paris for a certificate of selection but would like some advice before I do so.

My situation is as follows:

My husband and I have recently separated and are in the process of drafting a separation agreement. My question is :
  • Does he have to sign the spousal declaration even though he will not be accompanying me?
  • Will I be considered a single applicant even though my husband and I are technically (and legally) married

Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Alls

PS: I hold an MSc in Statistics and have 3 years' work experience in the insurance industry; am a basic french speaker (just registered for DELF exams) and proficient user of English; have no children and an estranged husband.
