Hi Shahi and Bhavika

I noted, you got the interview on 15th Feb and 2nd Feb,2010 respe....

I want to know you time line....
When did you apply for QSW?
Did you submit Languages Test at the time of application?
If not, Have you taken test of French and submitted to Quebec Embassy or will you submit at the time of Interview?
What is your French level, A1, A2 or B1?

I have heard, If you score 55 Points (for Single) or 63 Points (for Married) without Adaptability Factor(6 Points) and If your area of training is in positive list, then there is no need to take Interview, they will offer you direct CSQ.

Can you please mention, how much points you got for following factors?

1. Education/ Schooling
2. Areas of Training
3. Work Experience
4. Age
5. Language Proficiency : French Language
6. Language Proficiency : English Language
7. Spouse's Characteristics : Education
8. Spouse's Characteristics : Area of Training
9. Spouse's Characteristics : Age
10.Spouse's Characteristics : French Proficiency
11.Presence of Accompanying Children
12.Financial Self-Sufficiency = 1 Point

Thanks for the reply...

Hi Visaexpert...

My profession is not in demand...!!... like i get 6 points for area of training... so not in demand.. i score 55 points... and i submitted DELF A2..at the time og filing..subsequently i passed B1...now i ll appear for B2 in feb..after the interview...

In my opinion..there is no fixed criteria for offering direct CSQ...tht tottally depends upon each individual case...

mt time lines wriiten on the left of my name..i got a letter on 30 june saying my name is added to the interview list... 8 dec i got my interview call..

Hope tht Helps

Hello Visa Expert,

My area of training is in IT. I have 4 years of experience in sales. I have completed A2 and appeared for B1. I scored 57 points and need to gain 6 more points. I hope that i will collect 6 points from them for CSQ. My wife has completed Engineering in Computer. She has also completed A2 and appeared for B1. She has 10 months work experience in IT field.

I hope that would work.

Regards,
Bhavikna

Hio Omm

No .. they have specified in the forms..as well as on the site..tht they will accept only if all four moduls in french exam are given!!..

Hope this helps

Shahi

Hi Omm,
For TEFaq, u need to do only speaking and listening. As for other test, i don't know. For quebec immigration, they accept TEfaq too.
Regards
Shahzad

Thanks all, I will ask my brother to find TEFaq center in France (he is in France right now) or in India.
OMM

Hi OMM and Shazad...

TEFaq ..the test itself consists of only speaking and listening...hence there is no ambiguity..however in TEF there are some optional parts..so if TEF is to be used to show french competence then all sections should be taken...

AS Shazad suggested ..TEFaq is preferable!!

Good Luck!

Shahi
