Hi Guys
did any one received CSQ interview ( New york office ) ,i received letter 2 month back ,but still i am waiting for interview letter .

Dear drgladiator..

As a premier option, I would recommend to take french learning classes..as u'll need to learn how to pronounce french..something which needs someone to teach & correct.

Secondly, I advise to practice by reading.. YES, jump to reading..cause it will help u more than learning grammar rules. You need to get close to the usage, and then u'll get all the grammar rules.

To be honest, it won't be easy to learn a language from scratch. But I believe everyone of us will do anything to achieve his/her dream.

Good luck buddy.

@ vicky: i got my refusal letter exactly after 4 months of first AOR. i applied in April and they took decision on my case in May, but sent the letter in August, don't know why this much delay in just dispatching the letter. also meanwhile, when i sent them email, they didn't inform me about refusal and said its under processing. so its just useless to write them email .

hey Guys,

Just an update, got my AOR today!!!!

Also, I got a work permit for Canada for one year, leaving in two weeks.

Was initially planning to go to Montreal but my friend who lives there says it is almost impossible to get a job there without fluent French.

My French is A2.

I think I'll go to Toronto for now, what do you think???

hi guys,

@ congrats wings, i hope going to Tronto would be a nice idea....BEst of Luck ;)

@Angel; thx man; why the HK office is so slow, im also planning to go for my MS from UK and all this slow process.... :( what do you think?? what about ur case review? hve u started it or not?

Guys what should i do? should i wait or start working for my admission process in MS from UK??

@ vicky: MS from UK is a good idea, i think u should go for it. as u don't know how much time this case will take. yes i sent them the details for re-assessment on 25 Aug, but no reply from them. Again i send them email, and now they replied that its undergoing analysis and asked me to be patient. one request, whatever u plan for MS, do let me know the details through PM, as im also thinking on these lines now. thanks

angel

Thx angel,

Can you tell me is their anyway to contact them about status of the application..Its nice that at least you have taken a step for ur application review..I hope they will relaize that they were wrong abt ur preferred area of Training and inshallah they will give you points this time....

YEah sure i will share with you my details, i have already started working on it...

hi guys,

@Shahi,iceberg and wings guys plesae comment on my query posted for higher education from UK....

vicky,

i think sending query by email means simple standard reply that your file is undergoing processing. please wait, therefore its better if you can contact them through their telephone number. i hope you will get a better reply.

Guys,

I am going to Quebec in two weeks while I am awaiting my Celection Certificate. My friend who lives there says that French is very important, all the jobs require French. That's why Angel, no matter if you're preferred or not and whether you have enough points, if no French, they will find a way to disqualify you.

My friend also says: 3 things that are the most importnant: 1. French, 2. Canadian education, 3. Canadian experience even if its just working as a waiter/waitress.

Vickyrocks, why not think about doing your MS from Canada instead of UK?

Hello Guys,,

Hey Vicky i think MS from Canada shud be on ur list if u want to immigrate to Quebec.. i m still waiting for interview date...i sent a mail..but got a pretty useless reply... ::) Anyhow still hopefull...good luck to all!! ;D
