when I renewed my daughters passport I copied the first six pages and send it along with a cover letter along with ref #. I copied the first six pages because the year before I had gotten email to produce certain doc to update my file and that was one of their requirement

Who are you sending it to? You should only send your Passport to Immigration/Visa Office.

Hi all

please guide me,
we have ILR in uk and by son got british passport,at the time of app field we sent indian passport detail(son's) now do you thnk if we inform fedral about passport change, will it effect our application timing

Are there any December 2014 applicants who received their AOR from Sydney yet? Where are we at right now? I haven't seen anyone receiving their federal AOR lately...

thanks a lot

Is there any form to attach with the copy and the cover letter?

I got total scores of 39 (got 0 on all French points) but it is stated in the letter :

Veuillez noter que le candidat n'est pas référé en francisation. car ne répond pas aux balises applicables.

=Please note that the candidate does not refer Francization. because does not meet the applicable tags.

Why they did not give me 12-18 months to send the B2 French although I got 39 points??

They give me only 3 months to send anything which may change they mind (B2 french, employment offer in QC ect)....

Thanks alq814, +1 for you. regarding explanation letter from your school, could you please send me (through PM) the letter format?

Does anyone know whether the failed B2 with passed scores for the listening / speaking is considered 'acceptable' or not?
e.g. total scores of B2

Listening: 12.5
Speaking : 20
Writing: 5
Reading: 5
Total: 42.5/ 100 = FAILED

but from the point table for French

Passing B2 Listening = 5 pts
Passing B Speaking = 5 pts
Failed Writing = 0 (even u pass u get only 1 pts)
Failed Reading= 0 (even u pass u get only 1 pts)
?????

Can anyone answer this?

If you have DELF result then you can claim points only if you have score higher then or equal to 16. otherwise there is zero point (in the result above you can claim your speaking points)

I was told by a person who attended a BIQ webinar that in DELF's case the "attestation" is not accepted, only the "diplome" is acceptable in order to claim points. So i think that even though your score is suficient to claim points for speaking, since you failed the whole test you won't be awarded a "diplome", so im afraid you won't be able to claim any point from that test. Is it possible for you to take the test again?

True, attestation for DELF is not acceptable, that's why everyone recommends to take TEF because DELF original diploma takes up to 5 months to arrive and TEF TCF from 1 to 2 months

Hello,
have a question about Area of training as Changes have been made to the List of areas of training and will be effective January 26, 2015.

I'm planning to apply under Quebec Skills Worker in 2015 . I have BCA & MCA from India

how many points I would get under Area of training and what category will fit with my education?

thanks for your help-

The results above were not real; it was my supposition.

I've registered for DELF B2 + TCFqa but results will come out very close to MIDI's deadline which they gave me. I think it's difficult for me to get the listening part. Does anyone know if enrolling for a DVS course which gives about 6 pts now will grant the point immediately for the application which is 'about to be rejected'?

I hope that passing speaking B2 = 5 pts
then paying a 1-year DVS with an approved student visa = 6 pts

make sense? if I were granted these pts, then I would make it.

Hi All,

Got a letter from MIDI, static the intention to refuse. But they have asked for certain documents which i should send before June 2nd for them to check our eligibility.

The documents requested are: 1. Birth Certificate 2. Marriage Certificate 3. Educational Qualification Certificate 4. Experience Certificate 5. Income Tax proof.

Though this has been already sent and also Comparative Evaluation results have been sent, i am not sure why they are requesting again. One problem i have is both our IT Returns for 2008 and 2009 is missing.

Can anyone guide us on this?

Thanks & Regards,
