Hi guys!

I wanted to share a good news but i think this is not the right time, This is really a bad news for all of us. i really cant imagine a person falling under the Preferred Traing list got rejected..but angel dont loose hope as shahi and others have told go for the administrative review and enroll for the french course, it will definitely help in claiming your points for french language and inshallah you will get through...

Decision made on angel applciation clears one thing that the rules are getting tougher day by day and if you consider your self in preferred list of training it doesnt guarantee that u qualify for QSW.

can some body explain what are the minimum score to qualify for QSW..

guys share your opinion on this..

thanks guyz, yes im not loosing hope and working on the issue. vicky please share ur good news..

Vicky You got AOR...nice...continue with french...Angel news has depressed me also..but i still feel..administrative review and french enrollment can help... if u are single u need 49 points...for QSW

Good luck

Shahi

I better put my application together as fast as i can before tougher rules sets in.

Does anyone here know any added benefits in using a rep or has anyone here used a rep?

Can french test results be sent to them after AOR has been recieved?

hello shahi !

I think in angeleye case , improving french language will not help for current application even though he writes for administrative review becz they deal with the documents which occur before rejection date. they will not give any points for new documents than rejection date.So in my opinion learning french language only help for new application.
plz write if I'm wrong.
thanks

@Satya...

According to me ..they have provided that if some qualification could be proved after the application then it will be considered in appeal..Since Angel had started with french(on his own)..enrollment slip will help to prove it..

some one sugeested that i should write the letter in french and also provide my resume in french, will it make any difference?

also please advice, should i write an email or send letter through mail? or both?

Just a suggestion, wouldnt it be better for angel to submmit a totally new application with his credentials evaluated by WES and a letter from Alliance Francaise stating that he is now enrolled in an intensive French course? I'm wondering myself.

ur suggestion appreciated, but submitting a new application at this stage means that i was lacking sumwhere and fault is all mine, wheras actually its nt the case. they have wrongly calculated the marks, gave me 0 points for training and deducted my marks in experience. when i submitted my app, i calculated the points and even without french, i was pretty above the cut-off limit. plus they have wasted my money and time. i will not let them go so easily and will fight till end. Rest is up to God and my luck.

Regards

Angel..there is no harm in writing a letter in french...

@wings.. We shud appeal now i think..and if it is not successful..then Angel can submit a new application with some french proof..

hi jayajay...

i hav 1 query .....
getting permit in one's profession (like junior engineer in ur case) and credential evaluation for comparing foreign degree is same thing or both r different .....?
if different thn which one is best for immigration only(points 4 equivalence)......and less costly......?

yes it is true before rejection .
if you got your qualification before rejection date ,then they consider .Actually in the case of administrative review they check your status as you were rejected.
this is clearly coated in your rejection letter.

and new things shahi !
does quebec goverment consider distance education. I did Master degree in computer science from SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY.When I had applied in 2007 they gave me points for it. but after this new rules I don't know. at that time master in computer science had 6 points in Area of training but I wasn't given that points. I don't know why ?
Do you have any idea ?

Both are different. Credential evaluation is to grant you points for the training while geting a professional permit is to make your degree Quebec equivalent and hence possibility of getting points for "area of training" and priority treatment.

Anyone could correct me if i am wrong
