God gave me an Xmas gift of a baby girl 2 days back!

I applied as a single applicant, without any spouse.

Now what should I do? I don't want delays in my file. Should I add the baby, get married and add the mum? Or I should wait and sponsor them when I'm in Quebec? Please take your precious times to advice me on this!

You don't really need to wed to add them,
Once you can prove that you guys are living together,
Baby is enough prove already...
You can add them as "conjointe de fait"
For now you can Add them as non-accompany ,
If you add an adult, your file will take extra 6-8months again

Congratulations!!!

You must add your child to the application regardless if they accompanying you in Quebec or not in 30 days. If you live in common law union you had an obligation to report that. If you don't want to wait any longer, add just your daughter for now, and you can sponsor your wife once you land in Quebec.

If you don't add your child, they can refuse to give your child a visa later and you can loose your permanent resident status.

Congrats man. Adding a new born baby is simple and straight forward, just fill the form and pay the fees. But adding and addult, I am affriad will take more time. we have already waited for too long, you can sponsor your wife while in Canada

Thank you guyz for the congratz and the tips y'all are giving me.
Well, my point here is I am not living with my to be wife. She lives with her parents. Must I inform MIDI about her? If I don't and only add the baby as non-accompanying, will they not worry that her mum needed to sign some paper or so?

I just wanna avoid any delays so thatz why I'm bothered here...Don't relent your efforts in making this clearer to me my bros and sis!!!

I guess you would have to notify MIDI about both of them either way. I know such changes are meant to be communicated within 3 months. It may cause a delay to your application though....except if their is a way you do the notification and then declare that both of them would not be accompanying you yet.....


Let me consult on this and revert.

Hi, I received a e-mail for DOC request for CSQ on dec 16. I do not have a legal status in canada right now as my work permit expired last month. What should I do now.

Hi frnds,

I am a 2011 applicant and waiting and I have been updating my file whenever my job changed or there has been a change in my profile..I have been using a the following form called change to the application for selection certificate

There is another following form called documents submitted in support of application form...
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/dcs/documents-dcs-en-dyn.pdf

did I select a wrong form for all these years for updating my profile whenever required and is the reason y my file is not processed yet...please let me know frnds....if the first form is wrong for updating and supporting our achievements can I fill the second form and expect a better result....please advice...
