Thanks Jenalby & mdammalli, I have 1 child so my points for child should be only 4 and as your calculation my point should be 66 w/o adaptability point (6points). So is it possible to get CSQ w/o interview? What do you think?

Total (Points WithoutAdaptibility) = 66 + 4 =70(add your IELTS Minumum 4 points and maximum 6 points for it)

Jenalby, I have one child so point for child should be 4 points instead of 8 points so total would be 66 points w/o adaptability. and my IELTS R:5 and W:6.

QSW Regular pogram is the only option for me
Why not? If you are worried of the time that you have to get your French up to speed, you should know that you will have 3 years from your graduation to apply.

The regular program is currently being treated as non-priority with caps. Come next year, it might even have caps for certain skilled positions. So if you didn’t have any work experience previously, you might not even qualify under the regular program. Even if you qualify, you would probably need to wait for 2-3 years just to get the CSQ. Another 2-3 years for the federal part. That is 4 years for the best case scenario. Why would this even be a preferred route?

You are getting 66points ...More or less you have chances to get CSQ without interview but nothing is predictable with MIDI...

Do you know the Number?

Hello Seniors,

I had already applied for Quebec skilled worker program on January, 2013. And I got my file number by email on March, 2013 and also got the receipt.

Now I want to know how long it will take time to get my CSQ certificates?

Please help me. When I applied for this program, my agent had told me that you will get CSQ certificate within 4-6 months. Now they tell me it will take more than 6 months time period.

Can anybody please tell me the approx time of getting CSQ certificate after getting file number ?

Also please tell me the complete time period of getting Quebec skilled worker visa ?

I am from India (Kerala)

Your help will be really helpful to people like me.

Many Thanks,
aneesh

Processing times for applicants based on geographic area is given in MICC website. Your agent lied to you because with regular program, no one ( not even for people residing in Quebec) have/ will have got the CSQ in 4-6 months. I am afraid but the minimum time for applicants from Inida is close to 36-40 months after you recieve the file number. Also There is no guarentee for this. They may process your file in this time if your AOT is in priority.
All I can suggest is learn french meanwhile. You have plenty of time on your hand.
What do you mean by Quebec Skilled worker visa? Is it PR your talking about?

Does anyone know if having the Evaluation Comparative des etudes for a foreign diploma means that it's now equivalent to Quebec diploma and the 12 points corresponding to Quebec diploma can then be claimed by the applicant?
