Hello guys,

I filed my application on 30th September 2014, and got my AOR on 5th November 2014. It is crazy fast and I would had been happy had it been not written in their AOR letter to expect delays and not to contact them until further notice.
My question is is this a usual template which they send everyone? or the processing time has somehow increased and they gave me AOR so I don't get panic due to the increase in delay...
Hello congratulations. I hv applied one day after u apply but listening my file is being returned.

didn't you submit income tax & social security tax document during submission of applications. I think this is mandatory to submit at least 1-2 latest year taxation documents. But if your salary doesn't fall under the taxation rules .. u can submit the letter from tax department stating the specify resons.
Thnx alot lucky. I will do that asap

Hi seniors,

I applied for quebec along with my french, IELTS in june 2012.

Also, i got acknoledgement and opening of file in July 2012.

Since its over 2 years now, what are the chances?

Thank you!
Better you call them on information service number. They will tell you status of your application. Definitely it's in processing as it's been over 2 years.

I called several times on the given number, but they give me same reply always.

they say-"Your file has been opened and its under processing".

Anyone here who experienced such a long time.

I know people who applied in 2011 and they have just received the request of adding documents. So we can know that they are processing applications received in 2011 now, after that it will be 2012. It's very normal, this slow speed...

Miumiu and jimmy80.

Thanks for your reply.

I applied from India, and it seems they changed processing timings recently.

Thank you for the reply. Yes I was asked to update the documents in Jan this year. I re-submitted required documents (attested copies) in March 2014. Since then no update except this email which I received yesterday.

I was wondering if anyone else received same email and whether they received CSQ after that or interview call or may be rejection? I personally feel that if there was a rejection or intend to reject then they would have simply informed me for the same. But waiting for decision means they want to make sure we have updated contact details in their file. So just my thoughts but I could be wrong though.

this means your fill is in final stage of section and you will inform very soon the results of CSQ from there side..
This is good news for you
all the best

From your profile I have seen you have calculated your points for English without doing your IELTS.Is that right?I believe if you haven't done your IELTS then you can't claim points for it.Correct me if am wrong ..

Yes Jenalby, you are right. IELTS was not mandatory at the when I filed my application, that time the rule was, you should be from major English speaking country or you must have completed your education in English medium. Otherwise, you should provide the proof of your English knowledge through some certificates like IELTS. Same case even with French language.

Yes, I must give IELTS exam in order to claim those points.

Hello mdammalli & Jenalby,
How r u all? I m applicant from Feb 2012. Can anyone tell me about MICC's decision on Rules :
1. Are they follow new rules for the applicant before August 2012? Then new rule should be applied in AOT and Language point also, is it?
or
2. Are they follow old rules for the applicant before August 2012? Then according to old rule AOT and Language point should be pointed also, is it?
My AOT is CSE which is 12 according to new rules / 6 according to old rules.
My French is L:A1 (=0) S:B1 (=0) according to new rules / L:A1 (=1) S:B1 (=4) according to old rules.
Please reply.......
