??? ::) ???hi . i called to embassy ,i had applied in almost last month 2012 and aor in march 13.I M IN PRIORITY . WHEN I CALLED lady told me that everybdy from india have to wait atleast 38 months ,it does not matter wheather you are in priority or non priority,....after that she told me in second phase it will be decided you are in priority or non priority processing....is it right friends????38 months just for be in waiting for processing and next 3 and 9 months to get csq????for priority also ..if its ryt its very bad ..so long time ,i had already submitted everything no documents missing even i had sent returns ITR-v Mannual with stamps...give your suggestions frnds..i m waiting ::) ::) ??? ???
Hi jass
I have also updated my ITR form (manual) 2 months ago. I got AOR in May 13. My area of training is in priority list. They have nothing new to say except processing time for your country is 38 months. I have stopped calling them because of their this answer. You too got same Answer. If this is true then it's more than frustrating. I will wait till Feb 2015. 3 years wait is too long for CSQ n after that federal part also takes atleast 6 months. Many plans are due jus because of CSQ.

Hello All,

Today I received this email from Ministère de l'Immigration. I am copying the text:

Voustrouverez en pièces jointes la lettre officielle du Ministère et, le cas échéant, ses annexes.

And in the attachment it says:

Objet : Votre «Demande de Certificat de Sélection du Québec»

Nous vous informons que votre dossier est en attente d’une décision. Nous communiquerons de nouveau avec vous lorsqu’une décision sera prise.

Does anyone know what it means? We had already been waiting for four years so why department wanted to just let us know by sending email that "application is waiting for a decision."

Has anyone else received such email? I am more interested to find out if anyone else received similar email and what next step was after this? Please share your experience..

Thanks

Most of us receive such emails when we enquire from our respective VO & when the decision is near ;) so no need to worry.
I think in couple of weeks, you will see the status change on your eCas.

This is the format for experience letter. I thought this format should cover the requirements of MICC.

******************************************************************************************

5 November, 2014

To Whomsoever it may concern

Subject : Experience Letter for Mr. "YOUR NAME".

This is to certify that Mr. "YOUR NAME" is/was a Full time-Direct employee with "COMPANY NAME". (From here on refered as Company) from XXXXX to XXXXXX. Currently/During this period, Mr. "YOUR NAME" holds/held the position as “YOUR POSITION” in "Your division in company"
As per Company's standard work practices, the minimum number of work hours are 40/37 per week. Annual remuneration for Mr. "YOUR NAME" is $ XXXXX. Listed below are Mr. "YOUR NAME"'s roles, responsibilities and accompllishments during his tenure at Company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 1. Role 1 Description
2. Role 2 Description

 1. Accomplishment 1

As direct reporting Manager for Mr. "YOUR NAME" at "COMPANY NAME" , I certify that the above information is true.
Should you require any additional information, please contact the undersigned.

Signature of Issuing authority with designation, email, phone..etc

************************************************************************************************

I know it is some times tough to get letter in format you need but try harder. The employer cannot deny this legally, they just try to play tough so that the dont get these request from all.
Now for accomplishments, it could be any award you won, any significant project you executed or even some project you were part of. I learnt that " Full Time Direct Employee" is must in letters. In canada some jobs are temporary and some fulltime direct. we dont have such systems in our country but they want to see this term in experience letter. Please dont forget that. Its a good practice to attach the business card of the issuing authority. This gives sends positive vibe. Also try to get the original copy. This is not your birth certficate which is difficult to get.
All the best.

Dear Anand_Inida,

Could you please inform me that what should be the Annual remuneration unit "Canadian Dollor" or Local Currency. and what amount should i write here my total salary (before tax deduction or after tax deduction) or my Basic salary only.

Cheers

The mail you received is a good sign, you are soon going to receive your CSQ.May I ask if recently did you update the documents ..

Thank you for the reply. Yes I was asked to update the documents in Jan this year. I re-submitted required documents (attested copies) in March 2014. Since then no update except this email which I received yesterday.

I was wondering if anyone else received same email and whether they received CSQ after that or interview call or may be rejection? I personally feel that if there was a rejection or intend to reject then they would have simply informed me for the same. But waiting for decision means they want to make sure we have updated contact details in their file. So just my thoughts but I could be wrong though.

I received the same thing via email and 6 days after, I got my CSQ. ;D I say 6 days after because the date of the email stating that 'my application is waiting for a decision' was followed by the CSQ (which I received via post roughly 1 month after) with the date of issue being 6 days after that email. The documents mailed together with the CSQ gave information on how to settle in Quebec as well as instructions to apply for permanent residence visa.

Wow this is encouraging and positive sign. Thank you for sharing. I am thinking to call them after a week to check the status as if CSQ is issued they will tell me.
