Hey guys..

Check out this web site.. www.sublet.com for guys who may land to Quebec soon.
If you don't have a place to settle there for the first period, u can search this site for a suitable place..& cheaper than hotels! ;)

Hope you find it useful :)

Guys does any one know how to make my degree equivlant to Quebeq's degree.

I have a bechlor degree from Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science department (5 years study).

I and my wife reside now in Canada. I'm studying since SEP 2009 and she has a visitor visa since Jan 2010. She also has an Alberta ID. I don't know French, but she is expert so she will probably be the main applicant.

Can I apply to Quebiq office for North America or I should contact quebiq office of my home country. I'm not planning to go there in near future so I don't want to apply there.

please help me with your experience,
- k

Kammar,

You are just allowed to apply to the office which ur country of "legal residency" follows.

If you have a current legal stay in Canada, you can apply there.

I do have a legal stay in canada but I didn't complete 1 year yet. Should I wait until I complete 1 year or I can apply right now?

thanks for your reply,
-k

@Iceberg..bro i think he has to stay for one year in canada before he can apply from there!!..

Shahi

hi to those who have already applied, does the visa office immediately asks for proof of french upon application?

is there an instance where you have submitted your application without the proof of french yet and then the visa office just got back to you and ask for your language proof later on?

btw, in the quebec site, it says there that the interview schedule for the Philippines was last Feb2010, so i assume that the next interview schedule for Philippines will be more likely be next year Feb2011 or so...?

merci!
