Hello Everyone. I'm new here. I am a 2013 QSW applicant from the Philippines.Lodged last October 2013 and recieved my AOR last June 2014. I have 57 points in the assessment. I would like to ask your opinion guys regarding what I received last August 5,2014 from MIDI thru an email, the following below is stated in the email:

"Subject: Your Application for Certificate of Selection of Quebec

Sir,

We inform you that your file is awaiting a decision. We will communicate with you again when a decision is made."

I am not expecting, but I'm hoping to be waived from the interview. What does this really mean? Thank you very much to those who are willing to answer my query and can share some similar experience with this.

Again, thank you very much guys. Have a great day!

Congratulations. Your speedy processing under QSW has given many of us a kind of relieve since we all are disappointing with the longer processing time that recently published on the MICC website. We still confused how applications with 12 or 16 AOT are taken into consideration as they have not specified time taken to process priority from non- priority applications in the new rules. To get a clear picture in this concern we need some relevant information from you. Will you feel comfortable to share with us like your AOT, French proficiency,Comparative evaluation for the studies done outside Quebec and some effort in gaining license to practice your profession in Quebec...?

Wish you all the best for the rest stages.

Thank you. I will be relieved from this waiting if I would be really waived from the interview, but for now im crossing my fingers..

I am nurse and my AOT points is 16. I took ielts last september and gained me a total points of 6 because what i gained in the listening and speaking module. I did not however got any points from my tefaq exam because i only got A1 and A2 in speaking and listening respectively. Taking into consideration my years of exp, age and etc i got an assessment point of 57, which my consultant told me that i exceeded the benchmark of 55 for single applicant. I applied for the Haiyan processing also. I already have my oiiq kit and will then process it in the coming weeks. I do hope i answered your questions.

I am hoping and praying that all of us will have some updates soon.

Dear DebR,
don't worry they will ask you the update before preliminary review.
Note: If any update you have, which relates to the points you should update within 3 months of change.

Thanks Javeed. It's really sounds good to know that. Ok then lets hope for the future.....

hi carielilviztie. I think my aor took almost more than 4mos to be issued considering my bankdraft got expired last april. Let's really hope for the best outcome in our application. Good luck to all of us. Thanks for sharing your inputs regarding my query.

Hi,

Did you claim your experience points performed in UK as well or are they asking about ITR and payslips for your spouse?

Hi jenalby, its good to know that you finally received a feedback from them. Just make sure you accomplish everything and send them all the papers they required to avoid any negative feedback. I worked in uk before too and when i left my job i was given the tax form showing all info about my pay and total taxes i paid so that was what i provided in my application. You can try to contact nhs first as they might be able to provide you that form. Or you can try to contact HM Revenue.
