Hey all, I am a Quebec selected applicant based in the USA, I applied for my CSQ in November 2011 in USA and finally got my CSQ after 2 years in December 2013. I have applied for my Federal application in February 2014 and it is now with the CIO - Sydney(Canada) office and completed my Medicals in April 2014. I have not heard anything further from the CIO office since then. Anybody in a similar position?

I got mt CSQ on January 2014, sent my federal application on February 2014. Completed medicals on May 2014.

Ecas status show my application to be "in process" but I haven't heard anything from the VO since may. I guess we just have to keep waiting

To get a point for education, education should be full-time and from recognized institute or university where the education provided. Lets say your MBA is not from recognized university then you won't get the education points for Masters Degree and you will get the Bachelor's points if it is recognized one and full-time (regular college study). If they ask for your Master's degree then provide the same if it's genuine then only provide (just kidding) and if you can't provide then write them the reason why can't provide in detail, you lost or it's not from recognized univserity so you can't provide, etc. etc.

Dear Rohit

Can you please provide me your email id or contact number??

regards

Hi,

What points should applicant with spouse have in order to apply initially for QSW? is it 57 or less ?

Will applicant submit improved language results later on even after submitting language results with minimum marks along with initial application?

I mean, someone has his IELTS in hand that grants only 3 points under QSW and who is also planning to appear another test to get better marks. Lets say 7 in speaking and more than 5 in other components that will grant 4 or 5 points and willing to send improved results again after getting file number.

Is it possible?

Dear jazv4,

Can you please share your Visa Medical experience ? Thanks in advance.

My medical visit was pretty much straightforward. Set up the appointment with one the CIC approved physicians.

Arrived at the doctor's office. The secretary took my data, photos and provided me with an order for chest X-Ray and Blood test for HIV, syphilis.

Once everything was done, returned to the office and doctor performed the physical evaluation, eye exam, hearing exam, urine test (test strips not laboratory test), blood pressure - mine was pretty high at that moment, they are looking for 130/90 the highest, mine was about 150/110 went he first checked but he just told me to calm down and had me seat for like 15 minutes to relax before trying again. all in all he check my pressure 3 times until it was finally under the parameter he was looking for.

the result of everything were not show to me at any point. However, he told me that after he filed everything he could provide some feedback on my examination but I declined. In any case, the secretary told me that if there was something wrong with any test they would call me again to discuss about the situation. Since they never called me, I guess I'm pretty healthy ;D

After that he took some pictures because he files electronically. and at the end he printed a summary report (a copy for Visa office and one for me) and he instructed me to send that file - not to Ottawa as it was done before but- to the visa office. In my case Mexico.

Since the visa office asked for FBI police certificates and some other documents. I sent all documents together to Mexico including the medical examination summary report.

I did my medicals on May 19, 2014. ECAS show that my medicals were received May 22, 2014 and 3 days after receiving all my documentation. my application went to "in process" on May 28, 2014.

Hi Friends,

When I made my Quebec application (Sept 2012) my AOT was not under priority (6points) , however, the new AOT gives me 12 points ;D ;D ;D.

My AOR was issued before the new AOT was announced and it mentioned that I should expect a certain amount of delay as my application was non-priority. Should I ask them if my application is considered as priority or not???????

Also if I move abroad will they change my interview location??? Please clarify!!!

If you receive the AOR before the new rules, then most likely your file will be processed according to the old rules including the points awarded to your AOT at that time. Unfortunately if your AOT is non priority, yes it will take time for the entire process, even priority applicants are getting delays in our applications. If you move anywhere, you have to notify them of your new location/address.

hi Guys,

I received below letter yesterday after sending required documents.

Monsieur,

Veuillez recevoir, Monsieur,

nos salutations distinguées.

They are totally bogus, after spending of 4 years they just refuse the case without any solid base.

Ohhh!!!!!!!!!
When did they ask you ''mise a jour''?
when did you submit?
What are the documents they asked for?
Please don't loose hope, lets see how we can help...
