Anyone here who got acceptance under QSW 13, without having any knowledge of French? An immigration lawyer told my brother that he can apply under QSW (if he qualify otherwise) without having an knowledge of French. His category is not open under FSW, but he otherwise qualify for QSW.

If he is able to get pass marks without french language points it should be fine then but if he is called for selection interview, he should be able to communicate at least basic french. I advise him to apply first and join basic french lessons on sphere time.

Owen, If they send the old DD, then it is sure they would require fresh DD with correct amount.

For best I suggest that include a self attested letter giving them the information that new DD amount had been changed because if change in fee amount. This would clarify in better way or you can call them on their number: 514-864-9191 as ask them. I am sure that they would need new DD with new amount.

No, you need to submit only one version not both. If you are considering forms after August 2013 on their official website , it should be fine.

Bro, I am also from Bangladesh @ Feb 2012 and received AOR @ Mar 2012. And waiting for the better future in QC.

Can I ask what is your profession or your Area of Training? Is it because your profession is not on the priority list that is why you are waiting for so long?

I'm a business graduate, completed MBA in International Business from UK and Bachelors in Marketing from Australia. While applied to the QSW, I was working as a Manager (Sales and Marketing) at an RMG and I worked in that field for a little longer than 3 years untill March, 2013 and since April, 2013 I am working as a Project Manager in an international donor funded project. And yes, while I applied, my profession was not on the priority list.

Well maybe that is the reason why you are still waiting for selection interview notice. Priority profession applicants like nurses who have applied at the same time as yours have received their visas last year and have landed as we speak. Try to ask Immigration Quebec for the reason of the delay.

this is normal i'm in the same field waiting since May 2011, if no priority it's taking at least three years for getting an e-mail asking for update and waiting for ever after that.

Seniors just want to ask with regards to the supporting documents form (A-1520-AA), what portion will i tick for my non remunerated volunteer work experience in a hospital, the WORK EXPERIENCE gained over the past five years (#23) or the WORK INTERNSHIPS (#31) part? Dear all, i sent my application Nov 2013 and i got a letter on 14 May 2014 with my file number stating that my DD has expired and must send a new one. But since 1st Jan 2014 the fee has revised to $ 757 for primary applicant and $ 162 for spouse. So, now i should take a DD of revised fee structure or same as in the old DD?Huh Please reply me ASAP. I am going to send it today itself. Thanks in advance.

Jacob it would be safe and better to send dd with new revised fee.

@ Jacob, yes, sending the new/revised value of amount would be safe, because, assume 2 scenarios -
If QC Immigration requires the new/revised amount to be paid, its on hand.
If QC Immigration requires you to pay the older value of amount, (which is lesser than the revised) it would get the appropriate value en-cashed and likely to refund the remaining amount (just an assumption) post final decision. If not, doesn't matter, but your application is safe !!
