Right now i don't have any additional points that i could possibly add to my file. Maybe work experience?

From the grid it says:

49 points will allow you to have an interview
55 points will allow you to obtain the CSQ at the interview

So now I have 52 I just need to have adaptation points, no?

it appears to me that initially you were required to submit b2 but you opted to send them ielts instead thinking its ok not to obey their request anyway all they need is additional points from you, am i correct?

I guess the decision made by the immigration officer which requests you to submit b2 is final and
irreversible so that no any other documents except the one they have requested is deemed acceptable.

again this has no legal bases and only an opinion from yours truly...:)

My profession is dental assistant; graduated in Quebec. Work in Quebec for 1 year + did a stage in Quebec for 3 month. :)
Hi can I ask how many points did you achieve ? Is it below 49 for single and 57 for couple? Because you have graduated from QB it should equal to 12 points in formation? and I thought you will have to apply for PEQ instead of QSW ?thank you

I applied in dec 2012 I had 56 points back then. After the new rules applied to me I only had 48 points. After I did my ielts this year in jan 2014. Now I have 52 points.

Peq have some requirements
1. The course need to be 1800hrs and more.
2. You need to prove that you were taught in French full time for x number of years.
3. peq program must have b2 French.
There are more requirements.

Hallo everyone,

i think it's not a question of B2 or french, they only need an exuse to delay our application, i applied since May 2011, i have am mster 1 in business administration and management of entreprises (AOT 6) from France, and in my country i did my bachelor degree in a french university.work in a bank since 2008.
eventhough i did teh tefaq and i got C2 B2 as well my wife(16 points) which she has two master degrees DESS & DEA from France.
as per my calculation of points i have 73 points or 76 if i can get 3 points from my brother in law who reside and work in Montreal.
i know many applicants who have sent their application since April 2011 with tefaq result C2 C2 and they didn't receive anything.

hope that they will really look into our applications and to start receive interviews call or CSQ.

i just want to hope that the new immigration minister will not ask for a new procedure which will give more excuse to delay our application,it's really very easy for them to send us a refusal letter instead of keeping us waiting and waiting. especially that all our situation are changing, kids are growing up and we are becoming older.

Regards,

merci beaucoup! i have already applied... but my consultant didn't reply to me when I asked what my score was. Is there a possibility that interviews will be waived for a score of 57? Thanks in advance

Interview may not be necessary if you meet the needed points grid i.e 57 for single and 63 for joint application. Most importantly ability of french language, license granted from regulatory body and overall how you have presented your entire application plays a vital role in determining whether interview is needed or not. I have seen many cases whose interview has been waived off with the points needed and at the same time most of them have attended interview even having adequate points. I think,it depends on the opinion of visa officer who have handled your application.

Hello,

If my profession (being Business Analyst), is not regulated in Quebec. Is that a problem?

How long did it take you to find a job, if I may ask? Everybody here is fervently advertising a DEP in assistance dentaire and promising a 100% placement rate.

If you are bilingual (English & French)you should have no problem finding jobs.
I was very lucky ;) i found a job right after my stage. Some of my classmates did trouble finding jobs, so not 100% guarantee. ;)

Most probably you can apply. Read my previous post and decide.

are you sure about that ? to be honest it was always known that you cannot apply for both programs!!!
