I am a New member of this group and I wanted to update everyone on my process in order to give everyone an idea of the processing times. I applied on March 19th 2014 and received an AOR on April 24, 2014 (a month later). Does anyone have an idea of how long it might take to receive a notice for interview? Thanks.

Here is an email I got from my consultant.

"Quebec Immigration office has already started to process your file in November 2013. That is why B2 French test is needed from you. Without B2 French test, Quebec Immigration will not continue to process your file. Presently, your file is pending for the test results. Once you can provide the B2, they will be able to schedule your interview."

At first I thought I was asked for b2 French because I only had 48 points. After I took my ielts exam I had 52. My question is b2 must is a must ? Or the consultant wants 55 points ?

your points should be at least 55 to qualify for selection, do you think you have other options other than having b2 for you to get the additional points you needed?

Education- 10
AOT- 16
Experience- 8
Financial self sufficiency- 1
Age - 16
IELTS- 6

Total points - 57
You are eligible to apply if you are single applicant.Note that Quebec immigration project is quite time consuming process. If you are eligible under FSW then I advise you to lodge your application on that in which most of the cases are finalized in less than a year.

merci beaucoup! i have already applied... but my consultant didn't reply to me when I asked what my score was. Is there a possibility that interviews will be waived for a score of 57? Thanks in advance

Right now i don't have any additional points that i could possibly add to my file. Maybe work experience?

From the grid it says:

49 points will allow you to have an interview
55 points will allow you to obtain the CSQ at the interview

So now I have 52 I just need to have adaptation points, no?
