Hi there,

My girlfriend applied for QSW on October 1st, and she just received notice that the payment has been collected from her credit card. I'm wondering what happens next? I'm worried because we will be travelling abroad for the next 2 months, and I'm worried that she might miss her interview. Would the interview happen so soon? Does everyone require an interview? She has 51 points... and scored a B2/A2 on her French scores. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

i am also apply 10 October, 2013. I sent bank draft. I don't know what is happening mind. still waiting for AOR.

a lawyer of my friend told me yesterday that there is a new rule now in Quebec, that..... " you cannot add or send any documents to your file in order to increase your points" like a better results for french or english exams that might give you additional points, and the assessment will be only based on the initial assessment. Later, during the interview, the immigration officer might consider these new language results"

is that correct guys ? i am really confused !!!

logically speaking it’s not true for some reasons:

1-How the people whose are referred to “Francisation” (having 39 points for single or 43 points for family) will update their files with the test result in 18 month period, If they don’t send it their French test their cases will be rejected.
2-In the form for updating or to mention any change in the address, new baby, there is also the field for update the language test.

Hi jimmy80,

So far I know , you may update your file with any updated information before your interview but there is a session for this update, this should be within 90 days of the new occurrence happen, you may find these rules in your AOR. So i think you should update your information.

ok - i do agree totally when the officer is asking for documents update or “Francisation”, and it does make sense of course for the addresses or marital status, but since you mentioned "the field for update the language test" then it's a different thing here! how can i find this form for updating documents on the dossier ?
