Dear Brothers/ Sisters

As per new law Beginning August 1st, 2013 can I apply to Quebec Immigration with French Test TCFQ result as A1, A2 result? A1, A2, B1 has 0 points. FYI with 0 French point my point comes as 59! But the question is can I apply with A1, A2, B1 in TCFQ or have to score B2 at minimum? Information given in the Qubec site is not that clear.

Please help. Thanks.

hi friends
new mission updated but no mission in asia

Again partiality for Asians...

Friends we all have to together require to take certain steps or else this partial people will not do any thing for us...
:P :P :P :P :P

What kind of steps you are suggesting?

It was expected since no one has received any interview letter. If any one of us receive any interview letter during October-November-December then it is going to be good news for Asia as there should be a mission for Asia in Jan-Feb-March.

I have to agree with this, it took me approximately 8 months to go from ZERO French to a B1 which I got a couple of months ago, now I have been studying for 4 months and I am still not quite ready to take and pass B2 going from B1 to B2 is not as easy as it seems, like you said it is probably as twice as hard.

eso para ti, porque tu hablas espanol ;)

you will never be able to move from b1 to b2 without a professional teacher with French conversation.
because spoken French is different than books and schools.
TEF and TCF are French dialog recorded and edited on computer to become fast.

example, je pige pas ( I don't understand) its spoken
t'es flic? (are you police? )
I guarantee for you if you spend 100 years studying alone youll not move from b1 to b2 ;D hehehe

Hi Makroh,

I just want to know, when you sent your application for QSC? I mean how much time they took to process you fees.

Thanks

Hi ,

I am from India and my credit card was charged with the fee on 18'sep'2013.

So as of now Visa office is not conducting interviews of Indians.

And I have 95% score in French-A2 exam. So can I hope for CSQ or AOR in coming days and if yes then how long does visa office take to send intimation after getting the fee.

Thanks,
Makk

Dear All,

I am here to post following sentence to be translated in English by any member
1.Secondaire professionnel 1 an ou +ou postsecondaire technique 1 an ou 2 ans ET domaine de formation a 12 points ou a 16 points = 10 points.
2.post secondaire technique 3 ans ET domaine de formation a 12 points ou a 16 points = 10 points

If college level diploma is in 12 or 16 AOT then will that diploma(below bachelor level) be able to get 10 points on education factor ?
Another one, for the last five years,my spouse spent 2 years to study and the rest 3 years She engaged at work. She also had an experience before 5 year period directly related to diploma.concerning to this, will she again be able to get get experience points that was done before 7 years?

eagerly awaiting reply

hey thanks alot for your reply
would you tell me names of books for TCF exam ???
and where i can get it ?

I bought my TCF books from Amazon France. In your browser, type amazon.fr and then search for keywords TCF. The first four results are books for TCF preparation. They are as follows:
1. Guide officiel d'entraînement au TCF : Test de connaissance du français, activités d'entraînement
2. Tcf Entrainement Intensif avec Fichiers Audio
3. Réussir le TCF : Exercices et activités d'entraînement (1CD audio MP3)
4. Tests de Connaissance du Français TCF 250 activités

Apart from the above four books, I also ordered another one: Test de connaissance du français (1CD audio MP3)

I prepared using the above 5 books. I believe amazon.fr ships to most of the countries.
Hope that helps.

This is not true, being a native Spanish speaker only gives you a slight advantage but just that. Before learning French I would try to watch random French programs and would only understand about 10% of the words which in fact are pronounced similar to Spanish.

You can read TCF_Test_de_Connaissance_du_Francais_250_Activites (with audio files for listening), try to complete all the exercises in that book. I tried it before and with a bit of luck, I have B2 in listening. Good luck to you mina_888

Using materials such as these type of books and audio does help to prepare for any French proficiency exam, however if anyone is planing to pass a B2 exam when that person has only been learning French for 2 or 3 months, any preparation materials will be useless. In order to take full advantage of any material one must have a solid understanding of the language, in my opinion in order to pass a B2 a person must have at least 12 months of formal French learning.
