Hi Seniors,

I need to know that if someone is visiting Quebec for two weeks time then he will be able to get one(1) point of score. Is that true? Please reply i have total 58 points (with family). I dont know french language yet but planning to learn it. I am a civil engineer and have 13 years experience. Currently I am in Doha. I've two kids and planning to lodge my application for CSQ. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Seniors need your advice.

Today received Ref and Dossier No. from Montreal. In the letter this link is given http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/immigrer-installer/travailleurs-permanents/demande-immigration-general/delais-tableaux.html

I checked the link for processing time and for India NO Interview is mention. What does this mean?
And after receiving file number for Indians how long process still remaining.
I am Chemist so comes under 12 points.

Seniors please share your experience.

Hi all,

Any one can let me know is there any additional point for visiting Quebec?
I am planning to apply within a week time but have heard that if i will visit Quebec I will get an additional one point. Is that correct information?

I have overall 58 (family with kids) points for my case. Any advise would be much appreciated.

Hi ashraflakho,
Yes, there is addition 1 point for visiting/ Residing Quebec for 15 days continuously. But you have mentioned that you don't know french, so you can easily raise your point at least 2+ by giving TCFQ exam which has only 2 modules (Speaking & Listening) and now you have 58 points, and after getting TCFQ points your total point will be 60 without adaptability point. So my suggestion is that please seat for TCFQ and get the Result.

You cannot pass TCFQ without knowing basic french, go through some model test papers first, you will get some idea.. Well, its not a big deal to learn some basic french, you can learn basics within one month and pass TCFQ
