HI GUYS...
pls. help me my prob. i mailed my papers in feb. 2013.. not knowingly i didnt know that it returned to me in my mail box.. until yesterday i checked my mail box. and i was shocked that my papers returned to me since march 2013..and now its last week of june.. they gave it all and with this papers that i should return my papers with this new applications or i think its just updated application form...they sent me this letter..with the required documents..i didn't send a french exam result,,, i decided not to send coz i will send it later..im still working on it..meaning im studying.. unfortunately im here in libya, and french school is stop coz they bombed it in may 2013.. im expecting to take exam in this june..pls. guide me guys... can i still send may papers.. i working it now.. im thinking about if i will return i will again update my latest 3 months payslips..

pls. help me if what will i do..thnks..im so depress..coz i expecting to much. i did all my papers..

What is the reason why they returned your papers? Was it mentioned that you need to submit the requested documents within 60 days?

the only way you get CSQ without interview, they send you CSQ instead of AOR

Also, did you read thoroughly the criteria in their website for the requirements in submitting an application for skilled worker? Your AOT must be in the list that could earn you 6, 12, or 16 points. And if you are a single applicant you MUST at least reach 49 points or if couple 57 points to be able to submit an application. yes i read it all..my grade is 49 without french exam..my profession is nurse u118..im single..i studied this application on my own.. you know what this letter it has a no. reference indication.. it has a number..but no file..i think the application that they want is infrench coz i submitted it out dated form that was a form in 2012..there is form for 2013.. but you see i mailed it before march 27, 2013and that time is the last submission until they again change.. the new form was update on march 2013 and may 2013.. im so so worried about what will i do.. is it POSSIBLE I WILL SEND WITHOUT FRENCH EXAM?

We have the same AOT and i applied on my own too. I did not submit any french test, just IELTS. If you look at the Website http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/immigration-application/index.html the application forms are in english format. However those are already updated forms. Well, if you can provide whatever document they need and use the latest updated forms along with the fee payment, then go ahead submit a new application but just make sure it will reach them before july 31 as the rules may change again after that. YES it is possible to send without french test result but be prepared for the interview and i suggest you study and take the test before you will be called for an interview as others mentioned that during the interview even if you have enough points, the interviewing officer will ask you to provide a french test result.

Plz check your form properly. I think you did not tick the column which states that you are not claiming any french points and hence not enclosing the french diploma. that's why they sent your application back.

Oh yes that's also very important coz i think there was someone in this forum whose application was also returned only because he did not tick that tiny box indicating that you are not submitting french test result.

thanks alq814..yeah i need to submit it as possible..im waiting for my sister credit card expired thats y im preparing it all again.. i dont know if i will update my payslips coz the one that i submitted before is last jan...im here in libya.. and its all arabic thats y i will translate it again...pls. suggest me if what else should i do.. all my papers dat they want is i did before.. except this french... ahow abt. you alq814..did u receive your AOR?

I don't understand why they insist on the french test (probably either you didn't tick the box or you lack the required points). I think its impossible for you to submit french test result before july 31. So when you fill up the forms again, be sure to tick the box that you are not submitting a french attestation. Just go through your papers again and as you know make sure everything is translated to english or french (when needed). Recalculate your points.

I have not received any sort of response from them yet. I submitted my papers 1st week of this month so I'm just waiting and hoping everything is okay as I just did everything by myself :-X

Thanks for that link lemans...it is known to most of us that Quebec would like their immigrants to successfuly adapt once we get there, hence ONE of the many other requirements to apply as QSW is the french test result. However, I am just trying to understand Leevy's situation to be able to help her in my own little ways. And if we talk factual here...based on quebec government website, we can still submit application providing our AOT belongs to the list which gives 6,12 or 16 points AND achieving at least the required minimum points. I am not saying french language is not important (otherwise I wouldn't spend money, time and effort to learn the language) and i have suggested this to Leevy as well.

If you want to discuss general matter, that is perfectly fine. But if you quote something specific then make your point specific too for the benefit of the one asking for help and for the rest of the members of this forum as well. Cheers.
