My hint to those who have free funds and time - do a short course in europe and apply from there. I was studying in UK at the time of application. It took me 7 months to get CSQ interview and 5 months to get passport request for visa as I applied to Paris BIQ and London VO

yes thats good idea, these offices are so fast

Hello
Is there any update from HK BIQ ? Anybody got an interview call or informed being on waiting list ?

good day! I am about to submit my application for QSC next week. May I know if my IELTS result will still be accepted since it will soon expire on July 31, 2013. Pls. give me idea if I need to retake the test before submission or just submit the old one..thanks in advance.

If they receive your file before that date, it's valid.

Jenalby its great to know your file has been opened. Did they give you your file number? If not, don't you think you have to call and ask so you can keep for further correspondence?

What worries me is: why is it that they usually to precise to other priority occupation applicants that their files will be treated under priority, at the time their files are opened, but they don't do for nurses?

Did they say the 2.5years is for the total immigration procedure or only for CSQ?

Kindly revert.

Thanks
Hi,
I already got my file number posted ....if u claim 12 or 16 points those files are treated as priority ....check in the Quebec website I got the info from there...yes they do it for nurses as we claim 12 points for that....
Just for CSQ alone but it's for Asian countries were the waiting time is 2 and half years..:(

yes.. it indeed takes lot of time to get the CSQ and after which you need to apply for the PR - I have applied in April 2011 but have not received my CSQ yet when my file was already opened in 2011 itself - hoping to hear from Montreal in couple of months. I agree with you, don't put life on hold because of the CSQ - one advantage is that you have time you save money for future use.
Hi Raina..
Thats true....let's see.....may I know from which country did u apply ,and what your AOT just to compare.....

I am from Mauritius and applied in April 2011 and got AOR in August 2011 - after that there has been no development/progress in my file

Need assistance please:

Today I received a letter from BIQ HK and the content said I have to send a new DD for xxxx amount. I have few questions however,

1. The letter was addressed to my Spouse who was not the primary applicant
2. The letter did not contain any old DD which was sent to them, but, the amount they asked for is for the same value.

The concern now is ? will I get the old DD from them ?? and why did they address the letter to my spouse who is not the primary applicant ?

appreciate your assistance.

Thanks

Hi folks, have a small question, it would be really helpful if someone can clarify this....

If i applied for federal while in the US, and during its processing time of about a year, if i had to re-locate to home country for some reason, can i still continue with the same application, or do I need to apply all over again?
