I have calculated 57 points ... yes I have submitted french scores as well...
for Tefaq I got A2 in Listening and B2 in Speaking...

You have more than the required 55 pts, AOT on priority list, and mid-high level of French, I don't see why an immigration officer would "waste his time" calling you up for an interview, there is really nothing to assess at an interview, in my opinion you will granted QSC without an interview, there is no point in doing so! though you can't really predict what will happen, either way you have a strong case. Congratulations et bonne chance!

Dear Sir,

I have applied for CSQ in 21 feb 2013. (In business Administration - Training Area) I have calculated 69 points according to my profile. In wesite no processing time mentioned, so how we know the status of my file. Please guide me.

Thanks

Expect your AOR after 4-6months of the submission of your application. I believe, no need to worry yet ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi vikastoj we have similar timeline just that my application was received 27th march in Quebec, I guess we just have to wait for 4 to 6 months since they now do some reconfirmations and verification . Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hi all

I have Master of computer Science degree (2 years Bsc + 2 years Masters) total 16 years of education. I did Credit Assessment with WES (World Education Services) from Canada and they evaluate it is equal to 4 years Bachelor degree in Canada. Now for Queqec how many education points I can claim 10 or 12 ( I am confuse)

Thanks

I am getting 55 points with spouse can I send my application as mention below

First stage required 50 points (i.e. AOR)
Second stage required 57 points and (i.e. calling for interview or file review)
Third stage required 63 points (i.e. CSQ)

Thanks

You still need 57 points for your file to be accepted.
If you send your file with 55pts, you risk your application being sent back to you.
Try to get two more pts. french perhaps?

Hi friends,
Recently I rang the Montreal office for query regarding my file. They told my file is open now and being processed ..and I asked abt the processing time she said its 2 and half years for non priority files and currently they are dealing with November 2010 files .I asked her what about priority as my occupation is nursing she told it will be lesser than regular files but didnot mention the time..I decided not to think abt CSQ now as there is a long way to go and am gonna carry on.......

Hi Garry,
My agent too told the same but that's not the truth...It all depends if ur file is on priority but for regular cases it may take upto 2 to 3 yrs ,this was the info from the person who talked to me in Montreal. If u claim 12 or 16 points for ur AOT then might be lesser...but don know the exact time this is what I was told..I claim 12 as my area of training is nursing..let's wait patiently until interview or CSQ itself turns up....

Jenalby its great to know your file has been opened. Did they give you your file number? If not, don't you think you have to call and ask so you can keep for further correspondence?

What worries me is: why is it that they usually to precise to other priority occupation applicants that their files will be treated under priority, at the time their files are opened, but they don't do for nurses?

Did they say the 2.5years is for the total immigration procedure or only for CSQ?

Kindly revert.

Thanks

yes.. it indeed takes lot of time to get the CSQ and after which you need to apply for the PR - I have applied in April 2011 but have not received my CSQ yet when my file was already opened in 2011 itself - hoping to hear from Montreal in couple of months. I agree with you, don't put life on hold because of the CSQ - one advantage is that you have time you save money for future use.

Depends where do you live. i got my CSQ after 31 months and now must wait 36 months for PR

My hint to those who have free funds and time - do a short course in europe and apply from there. I was studying in UK at the time of application. It took me 7 months to get CSQ interview and 5 months to get passport request for visa as I applied to Paris BIQ and London VO
