Hey friends,

I am getting ready for my CSQ interview. I wanted advice on whether I need to have my current job duties printed and taken to the interview? My employer does not list job duties on the employment verification letter.

yes visit this web and print jobs as your profession, and take your cv in French

Hello friends,

I wanted to ask if any of eastern Europe applicants has received an interview call for April - may?

We just got our documents back to home :o

Our profile as below:
Main applicant
Education: 12 pts
Age: 16 pts
AOT: 0 pts
Experiences: 8
French: 8
English: 5

Spouse:
Age: 3
Education: 3
AOT: 2 (information systems)

BIQ Montreal returned our documents, with a letter explaining very little:

As we understand, they cut off AOT at 6 pts, is it right?

Could you advise us if we can apply before 31 July 2013 but change the main applicant??? When my partner will be the main applicant, his AOT will get 6 pts, however, he has ZERO in French (he could NOT get A1 before 31 July due to exam schedule here).

Change the main applicant...send without french......if you at least meet the points requirement. Then get enrolled in a French class urgently to update your file at a later time and to ensure that you can pass your interview.

Here you are....

According to my understanding, the AOT of the principal applicant is not amongst the Skilled AOTs presently permitted to submit CSQ applications.......since it is well precised on their website that CERTAIN skilled jobs are not permitted to submit applications until March 31st 2013 which was further postponed to July 31st this year.

We still don't know if his AOT will be permitted to apply by July, so the best advice according to me now is to switch, and give your wife as Principal Applicant since at least some points were awarded for her AOT, and then update the file with French after submission.

Hope a bit clearer

The service standard is 2 months from landing, but there is no upper limit. The landing officer told me to phone the call center if I do not get it within 6 weeks. I am already here 5 weeks and still no card.
