Thanks for your reply m81, if it is possible then to update language scores, I assume that we can not update our file until we receive a "reference number & dossier number" ? or is it possible to update before we receive any of those!
By the way, you are so lucky! I can see from your timeline that you received AOR really quick! what is your total number of points?

I believe that assumption too. Update should be done once reference/dossier number is provided. Once again to avoid any mistake or lost of document possible. But the best thing is to try to send the best package you can send the first time. I went through the same thing, but decided to wait til I was done with the language test. I believe me and my spouse have 71 points. We'll see if they agree with that.

Hi Master7

I've applied in 2011 in old rules.. So I'd got the file no. & AOR without any results on language proficiency. But now when I clear the exams I can submitt the results and so my application can be updated...

Same thing has also been convayed in email form BIQ to update the file with any necessory changes you may have..

Hello,

How is it that you were able to update your file with new language results?? I thought French results got locked with your initial application and no more points could be awarded after that??

Hello Vicky,

So what I understand from your post is that if you applied in 2011 with the old rules you can update your file but not possible if I applied under new rules? Thank you

Dear, I don't understand your case...can you please explain it in brief ? so that i can help u....
Thanks for your reply.
Here is the case study
First time application send by me - 27-12-2012
Got returned due to missing original french certificate on 02-01-2013
Received by me on 22-01-2013 (they sent it by reg post)
Send it back on 27-01-2013
HK office sent it to Montreal on 02-02-2013
So far no news after that, BIQHK told me to wait for a month before sending any inquiry to Montreal office.
Demand draft made on 27-11-2012 ( valid for 3 months as per bank but nothing mentioned on Demand draft)
When the first letter was sent by them it had Ind Ref No. mentioned on that, thats it. Thats the number I was talking about.
I am worried if they send the application back because of Demand Draft, as it takes long man by reg post and it will further delay the process.
I hope this helps.

So what is considered the best form pf payment for this application? It seems that so many people are struggling with demand draft expiries...is there any other mode of payment you would have preferred to use otherwise?

I used a credit card but I don't know if that payment method is available on all BIQ's

I also used credit card, and it went smoothly.

I also believe that the credit card is best, you don't have to worry so much about it expiring and you will know right away when they charge your card.

Hello Vicky,
I have updated my file just before 1 month with my DELF A2 result and wife A1 result.
Also emailed to HK BIQ and they confirmed that they have received my result.

Anybody know any latest developments/updates from CIC for mission 2013.. ?
