Well, it seems it's all arbitrary then! If that's what they told you/are doing then it cool and good to know. They told my friend differently! And I've posted the document she was referred to. Seems to me nothing that is written is true anymore. I've read people complaining of being evaluated according to post Dec 2011 rules during interviews even tho' it is written that pre Dec 2011 will be interviewed as per old rules!kuro_shio said:Well, I don't know about that, but according to their website it is possible as long as the applicant sends that form with the required documents within 30 days after the change, maybe it wasn't like that before.
Besides, I also have some first-hand experience as I submitted my application without the IELTS result which I sent about 1 month after I got the AOR along with said form, I called the BIQ recently and they said it was already annexed to my immigration file.
Yeah, it gets kind of confusing sometimes, the only thing I want to get is my CSQ asap before they make something else up loldez said:Well, it seems it's all arbitrary then! Tell me abt it! Honestly that's why I stay away from these fora coz every time I come on, I learn of all these changes and then I'm freaked out for like a week afterwards!kuro_shio said:Yeah, it gets kind of confusing sometimes, the only thing I want to get is my CSQ asap before they make something else up lol
I don't really know but my guess is that if, for example, they set the threshold at B2 and you get B1 in one of the components it won't really matter if you reach C2 in the others because you're simply not passing it.dez said:Btw, what do you think abt that question I asked up there?( @ 2:41:27) Any opinions?
We can update them but not ASSUME them !kuro_shio said:This is not true.
Did you mean that you've got your CSQ in 3 months time??!!linleon329 said:Send my application last december 2012, got a email and a letter from CIC in Feb 2013 and ask me to apply for undertaking and CSQ. After 4 weeks waiting, i just got my CSQ. What should i do? Should i send a copy of my CSQ to CIC?
It says as longer my wife PR is in process, she can have a medical card.? How does it works?
Thanks
You can update your file but you MUST reach the threshold (49/57) with your initial application or they will send your documents back.Loofy said:I am really confused here.am actually sending in my application today without my Tefaq because I will be writing the exams on the 10th April and the result is usually out a month later.Though I didn't claim points for French language in my initial application but was hoping to send the result later.currently,I am 2 points below the cutoff and was hoping the Tefaq will give me the desired 2 points.
Are we really sure we can't update our application?
Are you calculating your points according to Québec rules? Do remember that the QSW stream awards points in a different way than FSW, I ask this because I've read several cases where people were confused about that, and having so many points without claiming any knowledge of French is not that common.Loofy said:We have 62 points without French language.i hope to submit my tefaq in may
