Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Reddy.

Can we see your timeline? is it QSW or FSW? You have to let us know where u are coming from before guiding u on where to go to.....

I'm from Tunisia, i started my immigration process in Dec 2008, then in 2010 i came to canada with a work permit, i got my CSQ in April 2011 and my medical exam in Dec same year.
I got married January 2012 (and fo course i told Buffalo about that)and my wife got her CSQ in may, we sent it almost the same day so they can add it to my folder. In july my folder was sent to ottawa and nothing since that.

Hi there,
In this forum, PATIENCE has been the watchword so far.......and I strongly think your file is progressing well. You all got CSQ without probs and i think Federal won't be the problem. So just hang in there, and you will soon get updates on your file!!! Allah Bless you!!!

Pls seniors help me:
On the documents checklist for the CSQ application, i saw this on Point 33:

LABELS
If your language does not use the Latin alphabet, you must provide three labels with your
mailing address:
• One label in French
• Two labels in the official language of your country

I do not understand this and don't know what to fill in this space. Can you explain? My first language is English

Thanks and waiting

Of Course. Being patient is important in such conditions but the question is for how long. A year or 2 is OK but if it takes 4-5 yrs to get the CSQ and then another year for the federal.......it's no point waiting...the young people who had applied for the visa are not young anymore....and....the point of Quebec gov to get young, energetic, working population into the province through immigration gets defeated.

Thanks for responding. Therefore you are saying i should include three envelops in the application, one carrying my mailing address IN FRENCH, and the two others carrying the same address IN ENGLISH?

Also, what type of envelops do u use for the main application and supporting docs? A3 ? and for the labels? Please guide me. thanks and waiting

well i guess as if your language is Alphabitic, then no need for all of that, they just need this in case of someone is Chineese for Example, it will be so hard for them to write the exact address in chinese letters, got me ?

but anyways just leave normal size envelops in the main big Envelop, and write your address on them and good luck :)

Thank you for your answer but the problem is why is it taking them so long to just change an adress? 7 months just to update few lines in a file is really too long, now my work permit is almost expired (July 15) and i'm thinking of applying for the one year open work permit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-12-20.asp permit but i don't know how to proceed, i don't know how to prove this (and must have received confirmation from CIC that their permanent resident application is eligible.). Thank you

what website do you refer to?

the website has " Processing Times ", search for this in Quebec's website and you will get it

Here's the website for the CSQ processing time:

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/immigration-application/processing-times-table.html

You can find, at the end of page, date of last update for processing times, on the same webpage,
Last modification : 2012-12-28
