You do not have to panic. It happened to me too last year in august when i did not know that BIQ Paris was not processing again. What they did was to post my application to montreal. They then sent me an e-mail to notify me.I expect they should do thesame thing to you.

I remember Poland was previously covered by Vienna BIQ.
If we have Vienna applicants here, they may advise us whether their files start with VA.

According to the AOR prefixes, what does VA stand for? Application submitted at Montréal's office.

Dear Friend,

BIQ Vienna already close by April 2012, that is why you submitted your application to Montreal but your file will be treated as per BIQ Vienna.

Hello Hoback,

My time line is almost same of yours but i have not got any feedback regarding interview, and it should take much more time i guess, unless your BIQ is so fast.

and by the way you may have the interview waived. and get the CSQ directly after processing your file.

Regards.

I sent all the papers directly to Montréal (as they closed Vienna office). I was wondering if it would operate more efficiently (comparing to the former one) to speed up the CSQ process. I really hope to get any information in next two months.

thank you signalmaker. :)

Hello there,
I applied on Oct 3, 2012 through quebec law firm and finally received my AOR on Dec 19, 2012. According to my law firm's agent, she stated that it might take 10-16 months from AOR date before they will call you for interview. I am hoping it will take much less time. Will see, all the best to all of you that are waiting for interview.

hi xyiday,
thx for this news.
Does this mean that they are closing BIQ HK too... ???
Then what will happen to the applications already
submitted at BIQ HK?

Have they transferred these applications to Montreal
?
THIS CAN BE THE MAIN REASON FOR DELAY SINCE LAST MANY MONTHS, THAT THEY ARE SHIFTING OUR BIQ AND FILES WERE TRANSFERRED TO MONTREAL.
Now we can expect fast processing for countries covered under BIQ HK.
